NOCTURNAL FELINITY effectively sprang from the 1st Incarnation, COVERT CORRECTITUDE, which, as the first version of The Place Of The Cat, ran from JULY 5TH 2007 until 18TH APRIL 2008. The original shield of COVERT CORRECTITUDE features the same cat eyes still seen on present Coven Tags. COVERT CORRECTITUDE was started by DEADMAN13, who became LOSTXSOUL, Founder of the 2nd Incarnation, NOCTURNAL FELINITY.

We in The Coven Of NOCTURNAL FELINITY, whilst strict where it most counts, are essentially Persons Of Light in the World Of VR, seeking to be perfect Ambassadors throughout the online community of this shared Society Of Night, which we all inhabit. We desire to take in and accept only those with the distinct wish to better themselves under our guidance, for personal growth and to become that much more effective and valuable members of this fine site.
Sharing in the running of NOCTURNAL FELINITY are: LADY & MASTER, FIRST LADY, CO HEADS, WITH CO COVEN MASTERS UNDER DIRECTION.
We stand for Truth, Honesty, Justice, Care and Consideration of one another within our own Coven confines, and also exhibiting these worthy traits to the Wider VR. The most positive aspects we shall exhibit, and be proud to uphold, continuously 'showing by example' and recognising that we each of us or collectively, are only ever as good as our last achievement. On the one hand we are humble and on the other we are proud, but quietly within ourselves we are entirely confident of our own abilities, and that which we have to offer.
THE CREST & MOTTO:
The Coven Of NOCTURNAL FELINITY Crest is an elegant shield of black, bearing a pair of cat eyes, bordered by aqua, fonts above and below bordered thus and night black within, complementing our shield. The aqua symbolises the Soul, the colour of the sea which moves eternally, in the nature of the shifting of the human spirit, adaptable, unbeatable, remorseless and unstoppable. The night black denotes our collective strength of will and tenacity, the lurking power of our semi-silent presence. This is overtly suggestive of the night which surrounds us and which we stealthily move within, this black void in need of the Light of hope and support, companionship and shared strength, the illumination of care and purpose which we will offer to those whom we deem worthy, but also as general Ambassadors of goodwill and example. The bright aqua cat eyes state that we are Of The Cat, lithe, silent and athletic creatures of grace and mystery, softly -clothed and intelligent, quick-witted and subtle, yet with the capacity to strike suddenly at those by whom we are obviously threatened. We are pack or solitary creatures as required, ever alert and watchful, protecting our own with a fierce mixture of love and loyalty, yet we purr and stretch with sensuality in continuous promise of dispensing Good, to those outside of us, ultimately preferring the luxury and comfort of positive and mutually-beneficial relations. We are tryers, carers, companions, teachers and ambassadors, our impulses of noble and determined kind. We are unflappable in the face of negativity, easily and proudly rising above and reaching outward, to temper and perhaps to subtly change, with our beneficent calm and silent strength.
WHAT AND WHOM WE SEEK, AND WHAT WE DO NOT WISH TO ENTERTAIN:
We seek to gather around ourselves those of like mind and soul who have clearly defined goals, and glory in a sense of just achievement, yet with the humility not to tarnish such noble aims with the noisesome, empty din of bluster and brag. The value of humour and sincere friendship are our mainstays, yet with the sense and gravity of intellect and understanding to obviate the threats of inanity and malice. Respect, Justice, Effort and Honour are integral, so therefore we have no time for the laggards, the hothouse flowers, the cowards, the cheats, the boorish and the bestial, as we are of Higher Caliber, with the wish to show by example without being vain, lofty and superior, just honest and true to ourselves and to each other. The named LADY OF HELLCAT MANOR is lodged here when selected as a true Hellcat Of Honour, and ranks immediately above FIRST LADY.
FIRST LADY OF NOCTURNAL FELINITY:
This tag , presently held by xXMORTICIAXx, denotes One of our number whom it is felt embodies completely the spirit and commitment within The Place Of The Cat, selected for these reasons as a physical symbol for All to aspire to. FIRST LADY also is a visible sign of respect to all Americans on VR, and so the bearer of this tag, xXMORTICIAXx, as FIRST LADY is one who has gone above and beyond, pivotal to the direction and energy of Nocturnal Felinity. Our Coven FIRST LADY is very much an Ambassador and Link-Person between all other VR Teams, as are DEADLYXDESIRE, ONYXCRUISER/LOSTXSOUL, FIRST LADY with herself as CO HEADS, but in FIRST LADY role, xXMORTICIAXx is prominent due to her sober and 'collected' nature, her acumen and maturity and of course her undoubted Online Pedigree, and so is therefore perfect in all respects as FIRST LADY. All major decisions are democratically taken by the Top Tier 4 alongside CO HEADS.
ADVICE/PR/INTERNAL DISCIPLINE:
This Position within Nocturnal Felinity quite naturally goes to xONYXCRUISERx/LOSTXSOUL, Founder of this Coven, who knows the internal workings so very well, and as the Title suggests, is more than well-equipped to act in such roles outlined here. Whilst xONYXCRUISERx/LOSTXSOUL, has the functions of Advice/PR/Internal Discipline, which are very much to his forte, a shrewd and watchful individual who will help guide the Coven as One Of Experience, and will fiercely root out undesirable elements and defend from outside attack in the manner Known, to ensure the cohesion, stability and well-being of the Coven.
HONOUR GUARD:
5 Hellcats have been selected for the HONOUR GUARD within NOCTURNAL FELINITY, these 5 being directly responsible to the MASTER, LADY & FIRST LADY (the latter 2 HONOUR GUARD as 'main) regarded as the most trusted, their function to be the 'eyes and ears' of the Coven, to identify and root out any undesirable elements, reporting thus to the CO HEADS any concerns they may have. The 5 HONOUR GUARD are also in turn directly responsible for those Position Holders beneath them, supporting and training where needed, and advising the CO HEADS if they have an reservations, re. 'weak elements' who are clearly not using their opportunities, via Position. The 5 HONOUR GUARD will monitor the NOCTURNAL FELINITY FORUM, remove any 'untoward and grossly negative' postings, report the malefactor(s) to the CO PENULTIMATE HEADS, to be dealt with via SUMMARY JUSTICE, if required. The 5 HONOUR GUARD fully exemplify the 'successfully trained', and so their function is to pass onto those who come after them, the benefit of their knowledge and experience.
EMISSARY:
This unique post within NOCTURNAL FELINITY is One entrusted to an Honourable and Trustworthy Hellcat selected by LADY OF HELLCAT MANOR, DEADLYXDESIRE, & MASTER OF HELLCAT MANOR, xONYXCRUISERx/LOSTXSOUL, with the express intention and in full and welcome co-operation with any Master of any VR Team deemed to be in need of assistance, and clearly friends of NOCTURNAL FELINITY. An EMISSARY will, typically, once it has been decided by the LADY & MASTER OF HELLCAT MANOR which Hellcat is to represent NOCTURNAL FELINITY, enter the mutually agreed VR Team with the express purpose of providing whatever support is applicable, for a period agreed between the Lady & Master and the Master of the recipient VR Team. EMISSARY is only entrusted to Hellcats whom it is felt will act faithfully and diligently in such a serious duty, and indeed return at the end of the period spent, once the job at hand has been achieved, and such engagements will provide valuable experience to any CO HEAD/CO COVEN MASTER dispatched, as part of the conscious online Training we offer.
