Swirling dust of blood swept past

Now this pain has finally passed.

We’re finally where we’re meant to be,

We’re finally there, you and me.

The anger’s past, the fires died

Now passions can soar, now higher they ride,

Together we’ll find it, together we’ll see

Just what this elusive thing called love really can be.

I don’t know what I’m doing, I don’t know where I’m going.

All I know is you, all I see is me,

One last look in the mirror and it’s us I see.

You know me well, through you I see.

It’s us and them and history.

All the pain, and all the ghosts,

In ten more years, to this we’ll toast.

We’re here at last, we’re on our way

We knew at last, today’s the day.

Your heart it beats, my breath it jumps

Your faintest touch, it’s all too much.

The earth it sees, the heart it sings,

The spirit it frees the soul filled trees.

The world it shares our starry night’s cares

The day at last is here to pass.

I’ve waited too long, I thought it was gone.

Just stories I heard, my heart in third

Now I see it’s really me,

Me and you right there for me.

And here I thought you couldn’t exist,

And here I thought it couldn’t be this.

But here you are, and here I stand,

Here and there for all the land

This journey it’s ours, you’re wrapped up in me.

All I want so close to you, for you to know I love you too.

All the words can’t ever betray it,

A world of kisses can’t ever really say it.

The thoughts that show my touch is yours,

The caress that knows, I’m only yours.

A legion of doubts swept by loving tears,

An army of thoughts held back all these years

Finally it’s gone, and finally we’re free

Two steps to the left

One half step to the right,

Two steps later, and your aura’s out of sight.

One turn to each, a nod to the rest,

Now at long last, we can put these bones to rest.

High priests give way,

Warriors guard the path,

Concubines light the way,

Our hour has come to pass,

Candles lit with darkness,

Age old blood burning bright,

So you want to see our secrets, way out in plain sight,

There’s a test you have to pass, a rite you must complete,

What made you think, we really would just meet.

Draw in the moon,

Call to the goddess,

Prepare the offering,

You know what’s next

All this calling, all this falling,

Did you really think you could stall it all?

To each question, an answer is married

Past our death, through our life

For the twilight and through the night

Stave your questions, your time will come

Prove your worth and here they come

Find the light, it burns tonight

All you know, and all you thought,

All you’ll see, and all we’ve fought,

For this we live like we died back then

For this house, we all are here,

For my dear sisters, we are always near

And to the brothers who protect our home,

Goddess keep and bless, the ones whose tombs we hold

In all this life and into the next

What more did you expect, more vampires and their sex?

Letting Go

When I close my eyes, I can still see his lies.

All the days and all the nights, filled with those god damn fights.

Every little memory, in every little tear

In every little cut, flowing every little fear.

What a cruel hand mistress fate has dealt.

I used to feel so alive,

Now the only things I feel are jack and jose quervo.

When all I went through was just another hell.

Weeping willows guard my heart,

Ageless oaks with their mighty bark
