Referral Bonus
Value: 0% to 15%
This bonus is based on the number of referral points you have obtained. To compute this bonus multiply your referral points times .0001. For example, if you have 289 referral points:
Bonus = 289 * .0001
Bonus = .0289 or 2.89%
Referral Points
You earn referral points when you refer members to the Dark Network. A member must use your special referral link when they sign up, or they must enter your member name in the sign up page when they become a member. If a new member does either of these two things, you can earn referral points from them. Your referral data and referral link is on the Referrals page.
You don't start earning referral points from a member until they reach at least level 10. This is done to prevent referral fraud. Once a member hits level 10, you start earning referral points. The points you earn is equal to their level. Premium Members that you refer earn you double points. For example, if you referred the following members:
A level 8
A level 16
A level 45 who is a Premium Member
A level 72 member
The total referral points you'd have is 178:
No points for the level 8 member.
16 points for the level 16 member.
90 points for the level 45 premium member.
72 points for the level 72 member.
Add it all up and you get 178 points. 178 x .01 = 1.78% Referral bonus. If you were level 80, this would equate to a bonus of 1.42 levels.
Referral points can be lost if a member does not maintain their premium status, or if a member deletes their membership. |
