Hello, my name is Vickie...
It's very difficult to give you an in depth description of me. Yesterday I was a dyed in the wool stuffy shirt, and today I am probably one of the most open minded people you could ever meet.
I am in a totally committed relationship with the one person on this earth who lets me be me...the REAL me and loves me unconditionally no matter what. I am fully convinced he is my soul mate and that we have just picked up where we left off in our relationship in our previous life.
He recently had some very positive changes occur in his life and we are looking forward to an exciting future together.
I am also blessed with 3 grown children and 6 of the most amazing Grand Girls anyone could ask for.
I am a Witch, following the FaerieCraft Tradition and the lessons the Fae have to teach me. I love being close to any large body of water, but feel most attuned with the ocean (either one).
Spiritually I am polytheistic. I honor all Goddesses and Gods of all pantheons. I am particularly drawn to the Celtic path and ALL things Faerie. The Moon is my Mother ... My Father, the sky. I am in tune with the Elements and have a profound respect and admiration for all things in nature.
I was raised in a Christian home. There were too many things in the church I didn’t agree with and that caused quite a bit of trouble as a teenager.
As an adult, I full believe that spirituality comes from within, not from whatever is impressed and engraved upon you by others. After much personal reflection.. I have decided Wicca is somewhat confining as well as freeing. I rededicated myself to the study of the Old Ways... The Craft. As such I do not feel the need for labels or judgment. My ways are eclectic. My path is in constant redirection with the Lady's light to guide my way.
Magick always takes the simplest path, and when you set out to change the world around you, that change may not always take the form you expect. While the end result is often what you were working toward, the chain of events that led up to that effect can sometimes be a surprise.
When one sets out to affect the world around them, they are merely redirecting their will from within to without.
Keep checking back frequently, with my new found sense of freedom, I plan to add to and update my profile on a regular basis.
