6.1 ounce, heavyweight 100% preshrunk cotton VR T-shirt by Gildan. This shirt is quarter-turned, has a seamless collar, is tapered from shoulder to shoulder, and is fully double-needle stitched.
The VR logo is centered and measures about 7 inches square.
As with all VR apparel, the logo is embroidered. Embroidery is a far superior lettering method when compared to silk screening.
Welcome to a short/sweet profile. Just enough to give you the 'goods' and not weigh you down ;)
I created this profile with a goal in mind. To create a new Society ALL ABOUT NEW ORLEANS. It isn't a 'working' Society, but more an affiliation with the theme. Members will be fellow fans of the subject, and information about New Orleans will be shared on public pages for all of Vampire Rave. This Society will never be concerned with the Standings. *the photo is probably one of my top favorite visuals in the city*
Reaching me would be best on my main profile 'imagesinwords'. I am a Regent on Vampire Rave, and this account allows me to run my own Society.
Lagniappe means, a little something extra ;) It's a common term here in New Orleans. Pronounced: "lanyap"
I first came to New Orleans in 1992. I was a young Marine in school for my job, and made a good friend in a local who was also a Marine (actually from Saint Bernard Parish, neighboring/walking distance from New Orleans). It IMMEDIATELY felt like home. I was 18 years old, and entered the world of magic and history only to be found on the pages of a book. I had spiritual connections, paranormal experiences, and a feeling of belonging that I had never known anywhere else. I am connected to New Orleans as a mother is with her child. I've been living here since 1997.
New Orleans is filled with magic. There is so much maintained culture here, it's amazing. There are holidays and festivals you can find nowhere else. The local food is to DIE for... and you can try and order it in another state, but I can guarantee you they won't be able to match it. *I took the photo in Fountainbleu Park on the Northshore :)*
New Orleans is the place for glorious legends and lore. Numerous books and movies have been inspired by the Crescent City. Most of you are familiar with Anne Rice and her vampire series, movies like 'A Streetcar named Desire', 'King Creole', 'Angel Heart', 'Deja Vu', 'J.F.K.' were also just a few based in New Orleans... endless stories have come from this fabulous city. *this photo was Mardi Gras season in the French Quarter last year*
I am excited to have this profile here, and will gladly share with you anything you would like to know about New Orleans. I'll be working on putting together great ideas for vacationing here, and hopefully help you take a tour of New Orleans that's not only rewarding, but affordable. *all of the photos on this profile were taken by me, avatar by Morrigon, Coven crest by old buddy , Tony :)
The best way to help New Orleans recover from Hurricane Katrina, is to do business here :) Google New Orleans businesses and shop online, travel and take advantage of all the wonderful things the city has to offer.
I hope you have learned a little bit about why I am so passionate about this city. If you're interested in visiting, please check out an article I wrote for The Hedgewitch: Visiting New Orleans on a budget.
