Greetings and welcome to my small dark corner here on the Vampire Rave. I am not new here, not by any means. I�ve recently returned to the site on August 2nd, 2009 after taking about a year off. A little less than a year ago I was getting used to dorm life at a major university, and it took me a while to adapt to the fact that I had people around me ALL the time. I absolutely loved it though! I've made many new friends and continue to make quite a few new ones. Here is a photo of me with my roommate and one of my best friends on campus. She is like a little sister to me so be sure to visit her profile and rate her kindly! No disrespecting though, because you'll have to answer to me!
Another of my closest girl friends from BGSU is ShiAnn a.k.a. LoneWolfling here on VR. We are close like sisters - please add her as well! Again no disrespect towards her will be tolerated!
Many of my old friends from here that I�ve reconnected with have asked me why I�ve decided to come back. The answer to that question is fairly simple: I've missed it! I know it is a virtual thing, but I do feel that I can be myself when I'm here at this site, talking to many like-minded individuals and not-so like-minded. I found a part of myself that I tucked away into the closet and chose to ignore for a while. I do not regret my time away because I've matured as a woman. I refuse to say I've grown up because growing up is mandatory and sometimes you have to be forced to grow up. Mature seems a more natural term to use because that is how my positive changes happened very naturally!
Okay, enough with the dull blabbering! Here�s some information about me! *smiles*
Well, now that I think about it, I don�t know how to properly define myself without sounding like half of the other individuals on this site. Although I will step out on a limb here and say that I'm quirky, witty, sarcastic, outgoing, sociable, talented in some areas, and not so talented in others; I'm also a very fierce friend to those that I hold near and dear to my heart. I consider the majority of my friends to be an extended family because they've helped me through some tough shit that my family either didn't know about or wouldn't know how to help.
I am a lover of all music; yes, even a little bit of rap and a small percentage of country I'll listen to. If you look at my music list, you'll see that I have very eclectic tastes!

I absolutely LOVE books; I could never have enough of them! I was fortunate enough to work at Waldenbooks for almost two years and it is by far my most favorite job I've ever had. My love for books is what has inspired me to become an aspiring writer myself. I have one novel in the works so far; it�s a werewolf story. I do love to write about vampires, but the idea I had in my mind for a novel seems like it�d be a REALLY cool movies so I'm turning that storyline into a screenplay instead of a book. I'll post a list of some of my favorite books and authors once I compile one.
I love to lose myself in a great movie. I also enjoy analyzing them, which is part of the reason I'm a film minor. *wink*

Spiritually, I'm very eclectic in my beliefs. I don't follow one set of guidelines for any specific religion. I do not believe in organized religion because I feel that if you do worship any form of higher being it does not have to be in large groups. I have a respect for most religions; not all, but most of them. I won't express my disrespect for some so as to not insult anyone who has different beliefs as I do because I would not want them to do the same towards me.
I am a collector of crystals and am a firm believer in their healing powers. I do use tarot cards and usually do readings for my close friends and myself when they or I need some extra guidance in tough situations that stir up in our everyday lives. I use the Goddess deck and it is SO accurate at times that it is scary. I treasure my cards and have respect for my messengers when they come to visit me. *smiles*

MY PROTECTORS
This is my VR sister. She is quite possibly the strongest woman I've ever met! We hit it off so well that we were talking and gabbing with one another for about five weeks before we even asked for each others names. haha! I love you my sister. *HUGS*
