If you want to know about me read this poem I wrote. It tells a story I'll never be able to fully tell myself.

Rewind:

Gazing into false loving eyes.

Watching the harsh line form into a gruesome smile.

Feeling the calloused palms like a rock upon my scalp.

Hearing my frightened heart beat, pound like the bass of a rap.

The bitter taste of torment on my tongue, lingering like the cruel sensation of lemons.

Painful gasp of air clinging to my lungs as a lion clings to their prey.

Press the rewind, watch it again, feel it again, hoping to erase, needing to embrace.

Please don't hit on me, I"m pregnant and even though I'm not taken anymore I don't want the trouble of men while I have to watch out for the safety of my child even if it's still in the womb.

I'm not that hard to get along with, I like pretty much everyone. I don't judge based on anything, not even rumors. I give everyone a fair chance, but I do not give my trust freely.

Some idea of my values:
I'm loyal to those who I deem deserve my loyalty, I respect those who respect me, I have honor when i remember it, my integrity lays within everything else, I'm courageous when needed, I'm sincere when not being funny, I'm honest when I'm not lying to help someone, I'm definitely intelligent, I'm kind when needed, caring is just part of me

I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male. I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men. I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that. I am the woman who died when the EMTs stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual. I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn't have to always deal with society hating me. I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind. I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love. I am the person ashamed to tell my own friends I'm a lesbian, because they constantly make fun of them. I am the boy tied to a fence, beaten to a bloody pulp and left to die because two straight men wanted to "teach me a lesson"IF YOU BELIEVE THAT HOMOPHOBIA IS WRONG... REPOST THIS
