As of this writing, I have been here on Vampire Rave for over six years now. Back in 2004 I placed "Gothic" and "Vampire" in the search engines to see what would happen. Not trusting to join any website at that time, nothing really became of my search results. Websites developed better security and I got more daring so I decided to join VR.

At that time I was a member of Prince's NPG Club as "JustBilly." It gave me some experience in the forums and chat rooms, not to mention great third row seats at his "Musicology" concert, but for some reason the name didn't sound very vampy so I changed it. Although my current alias is not that very vampy either, I'm not one for role-play and I wanted to use my real name since I don' like to hide behind anything either, including titles so I ended up with my present account membership named after James the Just, older brother of JC. I like it - it suits me.

It wasn't very long after that the VR Societies were created. Members knew something was going on behind the scenes. The Prince and Master Vampires were visiting our profiles. Minimum comments were left, if any, no answers were given and we were not going to ask any questions either. And then, all of a sudden, it happened. Many members were taken back to find themselves forced inducted in Vampire Houses. We were all enjoying the site before this came about. None of us were asked to join these Houses. And then we were told that some of us would be Marked! Some members took offense, some kept an open mind, while others were delighted about the addition to the site. I was among the latter. The House of Lunazure was to be my new favorite site within a site.

House Lunazure is not a home for me. To say it was would be silly. I love the way ElderDaniel ran it with the concept of 100% voluntary contribution and no drama. But it is not a Home. Nothing on the Internet is real - its virtual at best. I do not confuse real life with anything I do online, although I did have the pleasure to personally meet several VR members but then again, that was real. Its fun to have the ambiance of Houses and Covens within Vampire Rave. Its also great to have the privilege of helping as one of the site's Master Vampires. There are many benefits that an inner site, forums, have to offer the member. Some free "Billyman" advice, I think, is in order while I have your attention. Vampire Rave members loose their profile and Stylist sheets for one reason or another. If you are visiting or rating this profile, make a Back-Up of all your Profile and Stylist sheets. Please don't wait for a good time to do this. Many people here have gone through many long and hard hours to make their profiles special. I know, for I have seen them.
Don't lose your work. Save it now!

Many members seem to be adding their rating system to their profiles. Not sure if I actually have one particular system that I follow. There are many that give the automatic ten or one. And some give nines to everyone because they feel there is no perfect ten. Some members will just pick their favorite number of the week. While others have this well thought out system which I'm not sure has to do with planetary alignments or not. At the moment, I have been rating only portfolios. Most will get either receive a nine or eight from me. I'm saving the ten for that wow if I ever see it. My House members get an automatic ten, it might not be fair but tough. I will be using this rating system for all members: eight or nine depending what I see, seven if I see only the one picture or similar pictures, update in process with no pictures get a six, anything less is a one and a message to a Sentoran, ten means its impressive. I will rate the portfolio and not the pictures. In my opinion, I rate high but can and do change my mind. Feel free to message me if you have completed any updates. I will re-visit and re-rate if necessary.

If you notice that Master Vampire title under my site name, you would know that I am one of the site's administrators here on Vampire Rave. All administrators, Master Vampires & Regents, are appointed by The Prince as are the Procurators, Dominars and Sentorans. We get to help clean the forums, keep them up to snuff and that they stay within the site's guidelines and policy. There is also the responsibility and pleasure to approve or deny Polls, Links, and Members Articles and work in the VR Database. Master Vampires also have the responsibility of running one of the Houses. Feel free to message me if you need help with any of these things. But never piss off any member that is on the Admin team. We are all voluntary helpers and none of us need your shit. Ask, but don't be an ass of it. You will not win your argument and it may lead to a suspension.
Fair warning.

As I mentioned above, I am the House Master of "The House of Lunazure. Several higher level and rank members have come from House Lunazure. They have later became Coven Masters, Master Vampire, Regent and Consul. Not all leave however. Within these House Halls, you learn to watch the shadows!

So, I saved the best for last - spelling, or is it the lack of spelling? These eye sores are a major pain here in the forums. Is it very hard to use spell check before you post? How much time or effort are you saving by typing "sp?" Firefox has built-in spell checking to keep you from making mistakes so update that browser! If you are using IE then add iespell to your browser. It works just fine - trust me. And if Opera is your favorite browser then go Here. We will all be thankful you did. That wasn't so hard now was it. These are direct links. They are safe - so use them. BTW, "anonimust" is spelled - "anonymous." See, it does work!
