I am a long time member here on vampire rave. I honestly thought it was a joke when I first had someone tell me it was an addiction but alas it truly is. It has years now I have been enjoying this wonderful site and its members. My name is Isabelle, but I am better known as Izzy. I joined VR with a friend who has long since left and I have made so many great friends here; if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have gotten through everything I have in my life so far. I battle everyday with a mental illness and if it wasn't for the support around me that I have I doubt I would even still be here.
I am a hairdresser, it's what I have wanted to do for so many years and it's such a fun and energetic career. It's extremely satisfying to be able to make another person feel great about themselves and it's what I strive to achieve from myself for the rest of my life. The ability to make others embrace their inner beauty is a powerful gift to share.
I am a book worm my goodness! I read over 50 books each year and I am talking full on novels. Books teach you so much, the expand your knowledge and revitalize the mind, there is nothing like a good book to escape from reality and that is exactly why I read so much I rather not deal with your bull shit when i can run away and murder a few people in a story. I really love Vampires, I have had an obsession with them since i was eight years old and read about them in a goosebumps book. I also love Were-Creatures of many different forms.
As I study full time I don't really have time to watch movies or listen to music much anymore but I have a few bands I really can't live without on those stressful days; Marilyn Manson, Metallica, Slipknot, Korn, System of a Down and so many many more.
As for movies, I really am sucked into the Twilight saga and the Ginger Snaps collection. Also, I wish they would bring back the Moonlight TV series and I am currently enjoying the True Blood series.
