Something you should know about me...: I deal with death every day. That kind of contact with her tends to make me focus on the important things. SO. If you can't be yourself when you talk to me, don't bother. If you can't speak the truth, say nothing. If you want to play some kind of game... I HAVE NO TIME FOR YOU. I mean that in the nicest possible way.

Questions I have been hearing:
1. What do you do for a living?
answer: I am a crisis care nurse. When a patient on hospice gets sick, I travel to wherever they are and sit with them in 12 hour stretches until they either get better or die.
2. Isn't that a hard job?
answer: Yes, but as far as I am concerned everyone in the room with me has a harder job than I do. Just ask my patient.

Please don't tell me that I am a good person for doing what I do, I am a good person for being who I am. What I do is something I consider necessary and good, yes, but it is not everything I am, any more than sexual orientation is what defines you.

Sky in the night is black, why?
