The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

There's a lot of different types of people on Vampire Rave, as you will surely (hopefully!) have noticed. When it comes to Covens, there's many ways to run your society and many different opinions on what a Coven should be like.
Below, I've dramatised (or have I? Could we really be like this?) the more common views and runnings of CM's towards their Covens.

"Underling!" the master screeched from her throne. "Why have I gotten requests from the Master of another society? YOU take care of my business for me!"
The underling cowered against her leg and murmured apologies.
"It'll be done, ma'am, I swear it! I won't let these people trouble you with the petty trades of mere flesh."
The master stroked her minion's head in a patronising way, and thought long and hard.
After a quite few tension taut minutes, still petting her servant, she turned to him and said in an almost loving, gentle voice, "There there, my pretty. I'll just make new minions so they can help you with your burden. You shall all make sure I am not bothered by anything, and I shall still rule with my iron fist. We shall not take no for an answer, and all those who dare refuse us shall perish, for I have a long memory and an unforgiving nature."
The underling sobbed with joy at his Master's words, for now he'd have help in his never-ending battle to force other uncooperative Coven Masters into giving up members that the Master wanted for her Harem. Master, so beautiful and strong, shouldn't have to dirty her pale fingers with the laborious task that is trading people, he thought angrily. But he was sinking in the unending battle with other Society masters who wouldn't trade with him, no matter how many times, no matter how many ways he asked. Those...! Those disrespectful brutes, who not only didn't fear and respect their master - as was proper!, but who made ribald jokes and dared to treat their masters like... like a common peasant?
It was an outrage!
One day, he thought. One day we'll be the greatest of them all, and our halls of cobwebs and dust shall turn to bustling cities of worship for The Master.
One day.

The Master paced backwards and forwards, dismay written across her stark features. All around her, her companions muttered among themselves, dreading that the time had come again.
She took a breath, removed her gore-stained helmet and began thus, "My friends, my dears, I digress. It has been a long battle, for a month, maybe two, we have fought valiantly against being another rock in the river, we have fought against scathing remarks lobbed by jealous onlookers, and we have fought against my very nature.
My friends. We have been through much together, we have conquered and fallen, we've risen up out of the ashes and built ourselves anew on top of the ruins of the last magnificent city to have stood here, but I afraid... it has come."

Silence rang through the richly decorated halls as the news sunk in. For weeks there had been the feeling, slowly sinking into the walls and tainting everything with its cold touch of despair. The time had come.
Why? they asked. Is it our fault?
Mentally bracing herself against the oncoming storm of scorn and desertion, she took a stand demanded passionately, "Listen! It's time to disband, scatter ourselves across the world and reintegrate with common, mundane society, but fear not, one day we shall rise up!
One day once again, from the ashes, we shall rise and forge an unforgettable nation once again, and we will all be together again.
One day."

She knew people would laugh, talk behind their hands while wearing smiling masks, but it was done now, and she'd bear it as well as she could.
The richly dressed hung their heads. It wasn't, after all, the end. Just the prolapse to a new beginning, a better one, where maybe, just maybe, things would work better.
