What is poetry? Poetry has endless meanings. It can mean something different to every person around the world. Poetry is art. Poetry is emotion. Poetry is cold hard brutal heart break. Poetry is about life and about death. It about good and evil dark and light fire and ice. The point in writing poetry is to concentrate everything within you and throw every ounce of emotion and everything you have ever felt into a poem into a piece of paper.

A poem can be about anything or anyone. It can be about fiction or non fiction. About far away places and knights and shining armor. People write poetry for fun. They write to escape their everyday reality. People make jobs out of poetry and teaching it. They say if you love what you do you never work a day in your life.

I write poetry to express feelings that I keep bottled up inside like my anger my sadness and my pain. I write good poetry I write dark and mysterious poetry. Everybody can relate to the poetry I write I try to express my poetry and myself in a way that everyone relates to it.
