Genetics work differently than you may know. There are dominate genes and submissive genes. But you can always do genetics testing to find out for sure.

Do a DNA test easy peasy

I agree with Harleyquinn86, a DNA test will take away any confusion that you may have.

All the features of your mother's that you have explained here are what Science calls recessive genes. For example: Red hair, hazel eyes, milky white skin, etc. That's ALL recessive. If your father had dark or light brown hair, or blue eyes, that's what you will have. My mother has red hair, blue eyes. My father has brown eyes, black hair. I came out with blue eyes and brown hair.

DOMINANT genes are as follows:

Blue eyes are dominant over brown, hazel, gray and green. Green are the MOST recessive of all.

Brown hair is dominant over black, blonde and red. Red is the MOST recessive of all. (Some believe it's blonde, but that's a myth.)

So... All that being said, it makes sense that you look how you look. I'm sure she is your biological mom. If you want to discuss the science of this further, feel free to message me anytime. :)

PS: That's not to say that you won't EVER come out with recessive. Recessive just means that's it's a weaker gene and less likely to develop when the two are put together. :)
