I spent 5 days with my niece in FL. Had a really good time hanging out and playing with her pets, her two kids- and my sister was also there. My nephew-in-law hooked me up with a tattoo. He owns Class Ink (https://www.classic-ink.com/) in Bradenton, FL. It's a combo comic book store and tattoo shop. They also do piercings, laser removal, and permanent make-up there. So if you are interested check them out :) When there isn't a pandemic- they travel the world at Comic Con conventions doing tattoos- and have also been the tattooist at the Walker Stalker conventions and cruises.
Anyhow. I have always been a huge fan of the Kitsune. In Japanese it's pronounced kit-soo-neh. I lived there for 2 years, it'll always been a home to me, and I had some of my most memorable experiences in my life there. That's why I created The Coven of Inari here 15 years ago. Kitsune guard Inari shrines in Japan. Kitsune means fox in Japanese- but their Kitsune have 9 tails and are shapeshifters, tricksters, and loyal guards.
The coven was solely my idea, but we used my husband's profile to set it up. He never really logged in here, and after many years he just let me have the profile and stopped coming to VR altogether. I changed the username on the profile to SireKitsune, and took the coven over. I haven't really been able to get it off the ground, but we are working on that.
Anyhow.... As a spirit animal, the fox symbolizes problem solving, getting around obstacles, awareness, and discernment. When my old friend from Japan came back into my life in April and I learned he almost died in Afghanistan, he inspired me to tackle my health issues with everything he was doing to get back to 100%. More symbolism... He and I met in Japan, his first name actually means fox, nail tails- he was shot 9 times, and I chose the colors green and blue because he was wounded in a "Green on Blue" attack (google if you need to learn what that is). The tattoo is facing me on my left inside forearm, because it IS for ME. When I look at it, it will remind me there's nothing I can't do. Keep charging on, tackle what needs to be tackled, maneuver like a champ, be agile, make things happen. His rehabilitation and support for my transformation made me face a PTSD issue after over 20 years. It was hard, but I did it. When I look at this tattoo- I will always remember that: I CAN.
