Some people really believe that if they post often enough, they'll eventually become interesting. That's the strategy now, apparently. Journal after journal, flooding the feed like quantity magically transforms into quality. It doesn't. It just makes it take longer to scroll past the same desperate cry for attention wearing a different hat.
And those songs... Jesus Christ. AI isn't the problem. Plenty of people use AI and still manage to create something worth reading or listening to. The problem is when AI is doing all the work while the human contribution amounts to clicking "Generate" and convincing themselves they've just dropped the album of the year. Generic lyrics, recycled emotions, predictable rhymes, and all the depth of a puddle in a Walmart parking lot.
What makes it funny is the confidence. Every new post arrives like it's some cultural event the rest of us have been anxiously waiting for. Meanwhile, everyone else is wondering if the "Post" button is physically stuck or if someone genuinely believes that twenty mediocre posts somehow equal one good one.
Attention is one hell of a drug. Some people earn it by being funny, creative, intelligent, or original. Others chase it like a toddler banging pots together in the kitchen, convinced that making the most noise automatically makes them the star of the show. Spoiler: it doesn't. It just makes everyone wish someone would take the pots away.
At some point, you'd think even the smallest amount of self-awareness would kick in. Maybe pause. Maybe ask why every new masterpiece looks and sounds exactly like the last one. Maybe consider that if a machine can produce your entire creative identity in three seconds, the impressive part isn't the machine - it's your willingness to pretend you had something to do with it.
Keep posting, though. Eventually you'll achieve something. Not respect. Not admiration. But you'll absolutely become that person everyone recognizes, not because your content is memorable, but because they're exhausted from scrolling past it. That's one way to leave a mark, I suppose.

Hush now honey, you danced me off my feet.
Shall I run a Bath for you?
How can you call our first dance a meme?
Well I'm very hurt now young man and I'm not speaking to you until you make it up to me.
Yeah, I'm gonna need more coffee.
To be fair... the meme dances better than I do. lulz
I merely occupied the same pixels.
If anything, you should be thanking it for carrying the entire dance.
Now Now AdainVampire, if all you can do is post and repost the same tired old shit I'm going have to start charging you rent for being here.
Take a moment to think of some new AI prompts and come back with something interesting this time.
Honey, I spent the past 10 years binge-watching Daryl Dixon. You can have two left feet as long as you look into my eyes with those baby blues of yours.
Remember when people just updated their relationship status?

Season Four
Jesus fucking Christ... another episode.
At this point I'm not reading journals anymore - I'm binge-watching a Netflix conspiracy series that somehow keeps getting renewed. Every entry has to outdo the last one. Last week it was the FTC. Then the FCC. Then mysterious government agencies. Now we've got Friend B, a mysterious YouTuber, hidden accounts, fake women, fake strangers, coded language, secret identities, and enough red string to bankrupt Office Depot. What's next? Anonymous? MI6? The CIA? Fuck it, just tell us the Pope personally reviewed your screenshots and declared them authentic.
Then you hit us with, "99.9% of every bit of drama on this site circles back to one person." Ninety-nine point fucking nine. I love numbers that are pulled directly out of someone's ass because they're always so incredibly specific. Not "most." Not "a lot." Not even "almost all." Nope. Ninety-nine point nine. Trust me, bro. That's science now.
Then comes the detective work. "I cross-referenced the times... the usernames... the way people speak..." Brother... you don't sound like Batman. You sound like Charlie Day in front of the conspiracy board screaming that Pepe Silvia has been running Vampire Rave for twenty years. You've connected every dot except the one that asks whether any of this actually makes sense. You aren't solving a mystery... you've just convinced yourself that every coincidence is evidence because it fits the story you've already decided to tell.
And then... my personal favorite. "I have a trusted friend with a large YouTube channel." Holy shit. Well, that's it, boys. Shut it all down. The cavalry has arrived. Forget detectives. Forget lawyers. Forget anyone who actually investigates things. Steve with twelve thousand subscribers is about to expose the greatest criminal mastermind ever to plague a vampire website. History will remember this day.
What kills me is that every journal ends exactly the same way. "Soon." "The truth is coming." "Everyone will know." Motherfucker, you've been teasing this reveal longer than Half-Life 3. Either post the evidence or stop advertising the trailer. At this point you've released fourteen teaser campaigns, six season finales, three post-credit scenes, and not one actual fucking movie.
Here's the part that should make everyone laugh. If you actually had the smoking gun you keep bragging about, you wouldn't be writing cryptic journals like the clearance-bin version of the Riddler. You'd simply post it. Instead, every day brings another dramatic speech about evidence, secret investigations, witnesses, and impending doom. It's always "almost here." Always "just wait." Always one more journal away. Convenient, isn't it?
Honestly, I can't wait for the next installment. Maybe Drayton will be revealed as D. B. Cooper. Maybe he orchestrated the moon landing. Maybe he sank Atlantis between logging into his fifty-seven fake accounts. Hell, by Monday he'll probably be the Zodiac Killer too. At this point we're only a couple of journals away from learning he personally caused the extinction of the dinosaurs.
Keep them coming. I haven't laughed this hard at fan fiction in years.

That not me brainbox.
Maybe try reading before you reply. I never said it was you.
In fact, if you'd spent more time reading the screenshot instead of sprinting to the comments, you'd have noticed that.
So thanks for correcting something I never claimed.
You've managed to argue with an imaginary version of my comment.
Again.
It's becoming a habit and at this point I should start charging rent for the amount of space I occupy in your head.
Take your time.
Read slower.
Sound the words out if you need to.
You'll get there eventually.

I don't care. I don't want to be here.
Fake pro got me logging in.
Yeah that's why you felt the need to PM me about it right?

Jesus Christ.
I made it halfway through before I had to check if I was reading a journal or an audition for The Last Honest Man on Earth. According to you, you're the only one who cares. The only one who notices. The only one who defends people. The only one brave enough to speak the truth. The moderators are against you. The members are against you. The cliques are against you. The snakes are against you. Hell, I'm surprised gravity hasn't joined the conspiracy.
Here's a wild thought... maybe - just maybe - you're not the main character. I know, crazy concept.
You keep hiding behind the line, "I'm just honest." Cool. Every obnoxious asshole on the internet says the exact same thing five minutes before everyone gets tired of listening to them. Being abrasive doesn't magically become a virtue because you slapped the word honest on it. That's like calling yourself humble every other sentence and expecting people to applaud.
Then comes the martyr routine. You'll stand alone. You'll keep speaking. You'll defend everyone. Relax, Batman. This is Vampire Rave, not Normandy. You're acting like you're taking bullets for freedom when, in reality, you're arguing in a comments section over imaginary internet drama.
My favorite part, though, was your little "You opened the door" speech. Damn right they did. Which means you opened yours too. Funny how public journals are fair game when you're the one commenting on everyone else's, but the second someone reads yours and says, "This is the most self-important thing I've seen all week," suddenly they're the problem. That's not how it works. Public goes both ways. Your opinions aren't special just because they're yours.
And the snakes... Sweet baby Jesus, the snakes. Every other paragraph it's snakes, bullies, whispers, invisible rules, secret hierarchies, moderators, backstabbers. Brother, if you told me the Illuminati had infiltrated Vampire Rave just to downvote your comments, I wouldn't believe it... but I'd absolutely believe that you believe it.
The funniest part is watching you accuse everyone else of wanting an echo chamber while writing an entire autobiography explaining why every single person who disagrees with you is either a coward, a bully, a snake, a liar, or secretly plotting against you. Not once - not one fucking time - does it occur to you that maybe people simply don't enjoy interacting with someone who treats every disagreement like they're starring in the final act of a superhero movie.
Normal people hit the same wall a few times and eventually ask themselves if they're doing something wrong. You just keep writing new chapters of Everyone Else Is The Problem. Honestly, I'm looking forward to the sequel. Maybe next time the moon will be in on it too.
But since you seem so passionate about reminding everyone that posting publicly means accepting criticism, I'll leave you with your own advice. You opened the door.
I just walked through it.

I've seen less needy behavior from abandoned puppies.
And the AI songs? We get it. You found the "Generate" button. Repeatedly mashing it isn't a personality trait. Spamming the site with machine-generated Hallmark lyrics while obsessing over read counts isn't quirky - it's just embarrassing.

Funny thing about scorched earth... it never asks who's standing nearby. The ones catching the worst of it usually weren't even the target. Just collateral.
