So last night I took my child to see The Wiggles live. She had a BLAST! I am so very glad that I took her to that show. We had to sit way up in the highest section but as it turns out you got the best view from there as it really isn't that far off. The only thing is they collect roses for Dorothy the Dinosaur and didn't come to our section to do so. Well Alexis was upset because she had roses for Dorothy. I promised her that we would get those roses to the Wiggles for Dorothy and let me tell you... we did.
She danced and sang the entire show and her face was priceless and a memory I will never forget. When Maury Wiggle said last song I grabbed up our belongings and her and I rushed down to the floor the stage is on... I ran her all the way through the crowd to the very front and right to the stage and my little Alexis got the moment of her 5 year life.... she was able to give Maury Wiggle the roses, and he told her thank you. :) She was SO EXCITED!
Of course at that point I was excited for her and she still even after that standing right there at the stage front (were talking touching the stage, and had her hands on the bit they walk on) got to tell them all bye and they told her bye back. :)
I do hope that is a memory she will always retain. She woke this morning to tell me she had dreamed the nights events all over again.
All in all I thought the show would be boring for me as well it is a child's program, but I will say it truly wasn't! There was a lot of comedy that they try to put in for the adults. If you have a child that likes The Wiggles and they come to your area.... I highly suggest going to see them. It's well worth the money if for no other reason the smile on the little one's face. :)

Even the name "Wiggles" sounds fun! Glad you and your daughter had a good time. Life is made up of a series of great memories. Today is the day to make a great memory!
