Gosh, this must have happened about
12 years ago from today.
February 14th, it was.
A very cold day.
I was excited to see my beloved from
Over 2 states away to come pick me
Up and wisp me away on a 2 month
Romantic vacation!

I lived at my grammys house back then.
Only because I didn't want her to live
Alone without any family.
She was so happy that I had found
Some one, and a Some One that was
Going to make me happy.

Her and I chatted about this vacation,
And waiting for my beloved to show
Up.
When he arrived, he was smiling and
Super happy to see me.
I was too!
I packed my thing while him and my
Grammy were talking.
I could hear laughter, so that made
My day.
We left an hour later to a hotel for
The night.. as we needed sleep before
A huge road trip.

This, is where things got very strange.

I couldn't sleep.
It was 8pm.. And I just had this
Overwhelming feeling that, somthing..

No.. nothing could possibly go wrong..

Well, 9pm rolled around.. And my
Phone wouldn't stop ringing.
I seen that it was my grams.
I snuck into the other room to talk

Box in full of roses and dragon snaps,
In some 14K gold vase."
I was.. like.. "what?.. who is it from?"
There was no note.
But, a card.
I asked her to open the card,

But, that was it.
No names, no numbers, no nothing.
So..
Someone knew me.
And sent me this stuff on V'Day.

Well, my boyfriend overheard me,
And got all upset, accusing me of cheating. Almost called the entire
Thing off, even..us.
I told him that.. tomorrow morning,
I'll call everyone up I can think of..
Even the floral place to see who it was.

Whent to bed angry.
It was a horrible night.
I just slept in the chair.. I was so upset.

Next day, i called everyone, emailed.
Then called the floral place.
They said that the credit card that was
Used was blocked after the sale.
Everyone got back to me.. And every

Able to afford it, or would do that to me.

I looked on the florists web site.
Thoes roses, with the dragon snaps
And vase.. was $168.00 .
Geeezussss.

Since I was gone, i gave it all to my
Grams, since I hated roses.

Buy, to this VERY DAY.. I still don't
Know who sent them.
And.. why.
Someone that knew me.. for shure.

My boyfriend .. I think never forgave
Me for it.. he always brung it up.
I never cheat.
Cheating is an horrid thing to do.
But,
Him not letting it go.. made me fall
Away from him.
Then he decided to cheat on me,
Even though it was 3 years later.

Made me realize that love is a
Mystery, like thoes flowers.
They shine , then die and fade away.
