Around a 1,000 comic books to categorize and I'm only on #88. This will be a LONGGGGGG hobby. It would help if I didn't keep stopping to re-read some of the stories. LOL!
So almost a month ago, my brother became critically ill. His wife, my mother and other family members set around his bedside for 26 days 24 hours a day on a rotational basis. He's much better now, but there was all type of drama. My mother got a rude awakening and learned a huge lesson. She may be the mother, but since my brother was legally married, the WIFE called all the shots including whether or not to pull the plug and who can and can not visit him. Having a humbling experience after talking to a number of people pertaining to law, she said many people go into marriage not really understanding how much POWER they are giving another person from day one. Especially if they become ill and can't make decisions for themselves and especially if at that same time the marriage is on the rocks. It doesn't matter. The spouse is still IN CHARGE.
What's scary is the fact that if one party is incapable of making decisions for his/her own welfare AND the spouse is wanting out...who knows what horrors can happen.
Do you recall the case of the parents who lost their case against their son-in-law? They wanted to keep their daughter on life support, but the husband didn't; he had the plug pulled. I should add that during all of this time, he had a long term girlfriend before the wife's demise - ie, he was cheating on her. Nice, huh?

It has been 1 yr and 10 months not having an alarm wake me up. Either I wake on my on or the sun intrudes too much through my blinds and I gently wake up by that. However, this guy still has my method of waking up beaten...in so many ways. LOL!

So I have a Whirlpool dishwasher and a little over a year ago my dishes had these black spots all over them after the wash cycle had completed.
So I was like WTF? I saw the corrosion and was wondering if this was normal. Then I did some online research and found an article that stated modern dish racks are constructed of metal wires with a protective coating (typically nylon or polyvinyl chloride) that protects against the highly corrosive world inside a dishwasher. Rusted dish racks are among the most common consumer gripes about household dishwashers. In addition to the obvious scratching from sharp objects, the causes are numerous, including defects in the coating and degradation due to aging.
So since I was raised hand washing dishes I didn't bother with the issue until this year. I called to ask if there were any stainless steel dishwasher racks and was told no. There are stainless steel racks, however, no one makes stainless steel dishwasher racks. At least not Whirlpool.
That given how common the problem seems to be, it clearly isn't an easy, or more likely economical, design problem to solve. That to do so would undoubtedly drive up cost and that appears to be one trade-off that companies are unwilling to make.
So the guy offered to sell me replacement racks, but after hearing the cost I said I'd wait a little longer. Well to make some sort of sell right then, he offered to just sell me replacement tips and white paint for less than $20. So I said cool, ship it to me. Of course this won't stop the corrosion of the metal, it'll just make what is already there look better until I really need to replace the racks.
It's so sad to have someone ask another to marry them and for that other person to accept not really understanding the commitment one is undertaking.
If the very next day after saying 'I Do', the one you claim to love till death do you part is involved in an accident or is struck by the onset of a terrible illness which leaves that person either as an invalid or extremely disfigured...WOULD YOU STAY?
We're talking that person living well into their 80's or beyond if all goes well after that incident in which that person would need round the clock care as well as special living assistance equipment....WOULD YOU STAY?
How about that person losing their Job or is found not to be able to have children or is later found to have unknowingly contracted an incurable STD or later the Husband is found to have fathered a child...any number of negative things that are discovered AFTER saying 'I Do' with the exception of that person being unfaithful....WOULD YOU STAY?
If any of these events would to happen right after the ceremony......WOULD YOU STAY?
Just something to think long and hard about PRIOR to saying 'I Do'.
A woman should never ask me am I attracted to them or do I think they're attractive. I pick and choose when to be brutally honest and harming someone's self-esteem is not at the top of my list. I find beauty in every woman just because they are female. An I'm VERY attracted to females. I'm just MORE attracted to some than others.
I love a confident woman that oozes sex appeal who doesn't think showing a little skin is slutty.
I love women who take the time to LOOK feminine. That's the appeal of this man.
I love women who are hot and they know it! But I also love women who I may not think is all that attractive, but they think they're hot. Now that's a turn on.
As a Squatter there was often conflicts regarding members of the original circle inviting others to the squat, staying one night was not the issue per-say but it was always inevitable that the invited would either attempt to over stay their welcome, or (the biggest taboo) take it upon themselves to invite another person to the squat. I'll be the first to tell you that even though most Squatters are Anarchist, and Radical Liberals, they do indeed have boundaries.
Loving fantasy and art I've collected near 1,000 comic books. I'll pass them on to my son someday. I need to check the value of some of these. I could be sitting on a jack pot. LOL!
