When I was 19 years old and stationed at my first duty station, my Father passed away.
I hadn't started to make enough money long enough to have saved enough to be able to afford a return flight home yet so I was directed by my division to go see the Red Cross.
The Red Cross heard my story and I was able to purchase a round trip ticket home within hours.
Ukraine now wants to join Nato. Shit is going to get worse. They are claiming Putin wants Poland too. I am by Ft Stewart, and I know a lot of the soldiers based there. Many have been deployed.

I was raised to respect my Elders both in age and in religion.
Even those that I didn't feel earned it nor deserved it.
Of course, some of that changed once I became an adult.
I'm mostly.....Respect for Respect.....However, one fact I can't take away from ALL Elders is that out of all the ways that LIFE can end, they've been living with that Reality longer than I have and yet still Coping day after day.
To read how all males ages 18-60 pretty much got drafted into the Ukrainian Self-Defence Force (my term) is to know some of those elderly men have been COPING through LIFE for a long time and now this BS!
I often think that at 53 years old, and a man of color, my reality is having to be on guard whenever I'm in public not only in my own country, but around the world, due to those humans who fear anyone that is different then they are.
Then of course I doubled down on that reality by joining the military, increasing that target and so, I said, fuck it, if I'm going to be a target in life, why not join the U.S. Marines? So I did.
But one thing about this target, I fight back, I'm hard to hit, can take a punch while giving one at the same time followed by a combination of moves...blah, blah, blah, and now even as a Veteran, I'm still a target around the world.
That's daily Living for me since taught because of the tone of my skin, others will want to hurt me.
That's a LONG time to live on guard.
Yet, there are those OLDER than me who have COPED through LIFE living on guard and putting up with Life's BS for wayyyyy longer than I.
And there are those, no matter their age, who have had much more Responsibility on their shoulders than I.
So whether I personally like them or not, in some areas of life I have to give that......
Even if I never show it without being Disrespecfult......
My U.S. Government class would go something like this:

So, I've noticed a pattern in life that is expressed on social media that clearly reflects "FEAR" if I've ever sensed it before.
Two (2) statements I keep observing of one telling another or others:
1. You will die alone
2. You don't get any sex
Is it just me or are those two things not really 'Life Threating' nor would it prevent one from paying their monthly bills and expenses while 'Living' in the present?
Now, this is not to downplay the fact that for many, these are real fears and concerns they live with daily whether they have "somebody" they call their own or not.
I observed two types of kids while I was a kid myself.
One type is the one who can go to a playground and have a blast just enjoying all there is to enjoy alone and somehow even try to joke around on a seesaw. LOL!
The other type is the one who can go to a playground and no matter what has been provided for their pleasure, they sit on a swing (not swinging) or somewhere else and just.....wait....they....wait...for some other kid to come along so that they can START enjoying the playground (e.g. LIFE).
I simply chose to be that kid that enjoyed what someone provided for my pleasure and that of others if they chose to partake because in life, sometimes kids don't find fun what you find fun, maybe they can't come out and play, maybe they don't know where the playground is, or maybe they simply don't want to play with YOU.
All I'm saying is that it would be one hell of a waste of a playground to not enjoy it simply because there isn't another "body" there.
In the absence of YOUR personal Belief or that of another, all humans have the same major questions:
1. What came Before Life?
2. What's the Purpose of Life?
3. What comes After Life?
These are the very foundation of Human FEAR!
The Unknown.
Religion stepped in and provided answers that can't be Proven and only asked that it is Believed and to give Money.
And it is so critical for some that others Believe as they do that they are willing to Treat Others Like Shit, Die for or Kill Others for that to happen.
The fact is and apparently shall remain is that #1 and #2 will remain a Mystery until Proven otherwise.
However, in the absence of Proof for #2, and since it's the only thing we experience 24/7 from Birth until Transitioning, well hell, why not simply come up with your own fucking Purpose in Life?
I mean, it's not that difficult.
Simply say to yourself, "I Was Born To ________".
And then Live A Life towards working to Achieving It, Doing It, Being It, Living It, etc., until Transitioning.
The way I see it,
We Live....Struggle.......Die.
We Live....Never Know Struggle....Die.
No matter how our Life is, how we may have been born, adopted, sold, etc.....into it......We ALL Arrived and we will ALL Depart this Experience called Life.
One can either Succumb to the Challenges of Life until Transitioning or Fight Back each and every fucking day to make the Best Life you can achieve to Live and then Transition, but...........

So I purchased 3 *NEW* crowns from overseas, but there were issues.
First issue, the EDD passed.
Had to request a new one.
Then it passed.
So the seller offered to ship it via Expres via DHL and included a free present.
It arrives and ALL 3 crowns are not as I ordered.
Even the free present was for a female and not a male.
I contacted the seller and she tried to refund me half what I paid.
Ummmm......Nope, that's not how things work ma'am.
So after explaining how this isn't my first rodeo in this sort of matter and the step I will be taking if we can't resolve this issue between the two of us.
So, she ended up refunding me the total amount and asked that I keep the crowns for free as an apology.
So, I traveled to Hobby Lobby and purchased a few things, returned home, and modified the crowns to my liking.

So at the VA Clinic today, there was a guy in a wheelchair that had reached his boiling point and screamed at the In-Take Staff that he had been in his wheelchair for 4 years and still can't get an appointment. That he wanted to speak to a supervisor.

Hanging in there and Coping through it ALL......But in an Awesome way.
So I returned from Iraq with a Lung Illness in 2015.
It gets diagnosed as Restrictive Lung Disease.
I retire and claim it as Service Connected.
I am told since I have Sleep Apnea and a CPAP Machine, it is an automatic 80% rating, therefore, I was never compensated for the Lung Disease.
I filed a Rejection of this and that rejection was rejected in 2014 stating no further compensation for the Respiratory Zone of the body was authorized since the VA breaks the body out in zones and the lungs fall under the Respiratory system.
Then the VA rediagnosed the Restrictive Lungs Disease as Adult Asthma.
NOW that Asthma is claimable as a service-connected illness, I'm being told I can claim it, but they won't go back to 2014 or later because it wasn't called Asthma then.
I'm High-ly Medicated and the 3rd Eye Download is in effect.
I'm a very visual person.
Thoughts and visions play in my mind like an ongoing cinema feature.
I have a passion for Arts of All Kinds....All Kinds.
I love symbolism. Much like image association.
For example, I see the U. S. Federal Govt. with its 3 Branches of Government as Dad and Two (2) Sister-Moms where one of the Sister-Moms is a conjoined twin.
They have these 50 adult kids and a few they've adopted to some degree.
Now, it seems to me as Parents, they're still setting the rules for the Kids living under their roof. Each kid has their own little house on the estate and lands.
As long as the kids obey the rules, they are allowed to play on their own property and conduct themselves accordingly.
Now when one or more of the kids misbehaves, usually the parents step in and give a reality check and the opportunity to adhere to their rules or face consequences and repercussions.
Failure of the parents to intervene will ALWAYS be seen as Condoning the behavior leaving the other kids to believe either the action of the misbehaving kid was OK or prompting the other kid to take matters into their own hands and try to force the misbehaving kid back into compliance in some manner.
However, leaving a kid (i.e., one can even say a community), to Self-Police seems like a great idea...Right? Sounds like the Defund The Police Move. However, history has proven that leaving a kid or community to police itself leads to Chaos.
But there has to always be at least that one kid who never did too well in History.
Applying the Lessons Learned to the Present and contributing to a Better Future is just difficult for them.
If Racism, Hate, Discrimination, & Ignorance must exist, then I'm on the team that will actively, in some way, shape, or form, go about contributing to the Reduction of it and make it known in some way, shape, or form that I consider it Toxic.
That moment you hear your sauna timer go off realizing you just wasted 1 hour of heat because you were in bed reading up on Current Events on CNN on your laptop while pre-heating your sauna.
Homeownership....Things are built to one day simply stop performing as designed.
So let's start 2022 with the Pool Pump Motor reaching its Expiration Date.
And then sprinkle on the motor is obsolete so no one is selling a replacement, although I do have someone searching the refurbish or used misc. parts and will get back to me soon so in the meantime, keep pouring those chemicals so the water doesn't turn green.
A new pump will set me back $2K. Ouch!
On the positive, the temperature contributes to the chlorine staying in the water longer so the pool turning green is a smaller possibility.
And on my way back home, I think I'll stop and treat myself to Ribs & Old Fashion made Banana Pudding thanks to a $50 Gift Certificate.
So since my Niece is working more hours she asked am I feeling lonely yet?
Lonely?
This is my belief about Loneliness.
I feel unless one was born 1 half of conjoined twins, Life never promised that someone will show up and be by one's side until one or they transition to the After-Life.
Therefore, it is only Programming that makes one feel it takes another to "make" themselves feel "happy", "normal", "wanted", "loved", etc.....
Well, I feel Life only promises Daily Challenges to be met, Lessons To Be Learned, until Our Own Bodies, The Elements, other Humans or other Species causes too much damage to our Meat-Suit beyond its ability to Self-Repair/Heal and therefore, forcing the Release of one's Soul from its confinement and Transitioning to the After-Life.
It is said that only boring people get bored.
I find this to be so true.
To me, it's logical to busy myself doing things or exposing myself to things that bring me Joy.
I'm too busy deriving Pleasure from something to care that I'm doing it alone.
If I did dwell on the fact I'm Enjoying myself while Alone, I'd probably be thinking, "Wow, someone is really missing out!".
Lonely?
Nah, I'm good.
I Have A Life!
And my Purpose is to find ways to Enjoy it as I meet Life's Daily Challenges ALWAYS Learning!
Life is too short to place my life and happiness on hold while waiting for a Play-Partner.
This is so very true. I see my life the exact same way. I have always said that if one is bored, they are boring. And I am a firm believer that I am complete just the way I am.
