I started editing a video in Movavi Video Editor Plus 22.
I logged out to finish it later.
When I logged back in, it displayed an offer to upgrade to Movavi Video Editor 2023 for almost a hundred dollars.
I took a look at it and realized there were some "changes", not sure if I'd call them "improvements", but I didn't feel it was worth the value so I declined.
I then offered a free upgraded version of MVEP 2022 so I accept that.
However, when I finished editing the video, I attempted to Export it and it would not save past 29%.
I even tried waiting for an hour to see if it would move beyond 29%, but it would just stall there.
So I spent a few more hours trying to get it to Export, but no joy.
So then I tried uninstalling the 2023 version thinking something has to give.
When attempting to uninstall the 2023 version, a discounted reduced offer of 40% off was offered.
Well, hell yeah, why not since 2022 wasn't working for me.
So what caught my eye in the 2023 version were these little crowns in the upper corner of the transitions.
I figured it had to do with their Watermark feature, but I knew I had paid for the software to come without the Watermark.
Well, I tried to Export the video and again it ...Failed!
I had now been at trying to Export a video for around 4 hours getting no joy so I took a break.
Later, I decided to go at it again. The program seemed to have an issue with some of the features not being included in the 2023 version suck as Transitions. The video would play in Edit mode fine, but would not Export.
So, I ended up Re-Editing the entire video. 3 more hours.
I attempted to Export and it finally worked!
However, the MOVAVI Watermark was there.....Fuck!
So now I'm very annoyed and sent MOVAVI 2 problem tickets even asking for a refund if the software wasn't going to provide me with the access I paid for.
I calmed down and begin to read some of the "help" suggestions on their Website.
Seems to activate some features it has to be done manually so I had to right-click on every feature I saw with the little crown icon and paste my Key Code in the box provided to able to gain access to that feature. WTF! There were many.
After that was done, Exporting went as designed.
I contacted MOVAVI and explained the situation and what I went through and only then did they contact me with an email with "recommendations" to resolve the issue.
Well, at least they didn't take up to 72 hours, but really? AFTER I resolved the issue?
