If I had the time to write you a poem,

I'd write one everyday.

It would say that I'm in love with you

and why I feel this way.

It would say you're a looker,

from your head down to your toes.

It would express your beauty,

as rare as a desert rose.

You are funny and smart, fragile,

yet strong, as feminine as can be...

and everything to me.

It would say that feelings I once kept hidden

are things I now express to you.

It would paint a picture of days once with filled gloom,

are now the brightest blue.

You're my comfort when I'm lonely.

You're my peace when I need rest,

you're the one who's shown me how to be my best.

Dreams that I once longed for

are now all coming true.

If I could write a poem,

it would express the love inspired by you.
