....busy day ahead. Yes, I slept so good last night I actually woke up 10 minutes before my alarm went off and was ready to hit the bricks.



In a manner of speaking. I live in a brick house... that could have a different meaning.



Anyway... I have two service calls scheduled for today plus delivering a CD of AVI videos I converted from Flash movies of TV commercials a customer needs for their own marketing purposes. I don't understand it, but they were willing to pay me to do it. So there ya go.

Last night I was invited by a colleague to appear on her radio show this afternoon to talk about my company and business in general. Of course I'm a bit nervous - although I have a face for radio, I have a voice for silent movies.



I'm excited too, though. First off, I've been wanting to get more in touch with her show and how the radio station handles the marketing of it. Her business can benefit an incredible amount from taking the archived recordings of this show an putting them on PodCast and her own blog (that Morrigon created for her). Having the chance to speak to her co-host and the show producer about these things is just as welcomed of an opportunity.



Always stepping into bold, new ground. I'm considering bringing a video camera and my own wireless mic to do a video of the show.



Wonder if they would let me...

Just received a call back from a service company we tried setting up a contract with back in September. They're interested in moving forward... and apologized for the delay.



Their offices were being renovated and they misplaced our file.

Pretty non-stop morning. Trying to make things happen - and things are being thrown at me from every direction on top of it.



It's not a complaint - far from it. It is just what I need. Communications from around the world, work, requirements, lots to do. Just what I need right now.



Exactly what I need right now.

I'm performing application monitoring for one of our customers, so via a remote session I'm watching everything they do while working on one of their workstations today.



It feels a bit... invasive. Watching them go through their email... going through files...



...no surfing for porn yet, but it is Thursday.

I have to pat my own back - the lasagnas and sauces turned out great. I think everyone who attended our meeting - and we had a very good turn-out - enjoyed the meal.



And Morri and I have some leftovers for today as well.
