The "These are my super awesome friendlings" member pages do a lot more harm than good, in my opinion. Plus, they're just pointless. Is it really necessary for you to sit there and name off those who mean something to you? To put it out there for all to see? God knows who's feelings you may be hurting.
In my opinion, if someone means something to you, tell them personally. You don't need to devote member pages to them. It just seems like a "I'm popular, look at me and my cronies" kind of thing to me. It's a nice idea, but not really a practical one to implement, in all reality. And, for the love of all things holy, do we really need fifty pages dedicated to what's her face? Excessive much?

Haha, as I told bandnrd some days ago, when Pygmalion hits Sire, I'm thinking a Coven dedicated to Doctor Who. I've already got my Neil Gaiman and Harry Potter obsessions out. It's only natural a Whovian Coven would be next on the list. :]
I'd call it The Coven of Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey Stuff or something.. And the crest would be the TARDIS, naturally. Oh, the ideas I have running through my head right now.

I watched all the episodes of the anime, Blood+ over the weekend amd I have come up with something better than the whole "I want someone to love me like Snape loved Lily" thing. And that is I want someone to love me like Haji loved Saya. I want someone to be devoted to me, to always be there when I need them. Someone willing to fight for me, regardless of the odds. Someone who will comfort me, cradle me in thier arms, hold me tightly in a loving embrace. Someone to wipe away any tears I may cry, someone who will make me smile and laugh. That's the kind of love I want. No suffering, no unrequited feelings, just something pure and true.

I've started reading the George R. R. Martin series, A Song of Fire and Ice. I've gotta say, I'm hooked. I just bought book one, Game of Thrones last night and I'm already three quarters of the way through it. If you've seen the HBO series of the same title, you pretty much know the story as it stands. But, I like having a better insight as far as the characters go and why they do the things they do, what the driving force is behind them.
Anyway, I also picked up the second book and I plan on starting that tonight once I finish the first one. I've been needing a new series to get into, I can't tell you how many times I've read Harry Potter, LotR and the Sookie Stackhouse novels. I don't have the cash to buy a lot of books, and I don't get to the library all that often, so I just re-read whatever happens to be on my bookshelf. Excluding the Twilight series. Once was more than enough for those books.. So having something new is awesome.

So, some may say I'm a little Harry Potter obsessed. I just like to think of myself as... You know what, I'll go with obsessed too. Sounds a tad bit better than fanatic. Anyway, my phone is like the only way you can really tell I'm the geek I am. My ringtone for most people is the theme for Torchwood, a few lucky people have the Doctor Who theme, and one lucky person has the Harry Potter theme. My wallpaper was a collection of images from the last Harry Potter movie that cycled through. Now, it's of my uber yummy all time favorite potions Master.. And, I found a new notification sound for my phone. It's from A Very Potter Sequel, if I'm not mistaken, and it's a sound clip that says, "Oh my god! Umbridge, stop texting me!" It makes me laugh every time I hear it. I'm far too easily entertained..

I can't use the doe, it's too close to The House of Caomhnõir-an-Eolas' representation, which is a deer. I'm upset about that, since the doe represented Snape, and Snape was always my favorite character. I think I'll just have to go with my back up, which is a dementor.

So, in a total of three days, I've seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 four times. Once at the midnight showing on Friday (being technical about it), twice on Saturday and once again today. Excessive? I think not. I may actually go with Nick to see it again sometime this week. So yeah. I'm getting all I can out of it since it's the last movie, it's the end of my favorite series.

It's just as amazing the second time around. I will actually be going again for a third dose of Harry Potter tonight with a few friends from high school. I don't think we'll be going to and IMAX showing though, but that's alright. Two times in IMAX, I can't complain. So yeah, two Harry Potter showings in one day? It's like when 300 came out and I was with Brannan. We saw it four times in a single weekend. I am totally in love with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. :]

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 was amazing. There is no other word to describe that film. It was totally worth the wait. And though it diverged from the book quite a bit, it was a great finish to the film series. They went out on an unbelievably strong note. It has to be, in my opinion, the best film out of the lot. I have absolutely nothing to complain about concerning it.
Watching Snape die was so hard though. I knew it was coming, and once it did, I couldn't stop crying. The part with his memories was hard too. They added some little extra bits into it, and it was just so freaking sad. All in all, tonight was great. It's the end of an epic, but Harry Potter will always live on. Always.

Been at the theatre for a few hours now, finally got into the actual theatre and in our seats. It is packed here. The place I'm at has 30 screens, and they designated 20 for midnight showings, and 10 for 2:30 showings. It's ridiculous but totally awesome. I feel at home with my fellow Harry Potter nerds. And, to top it off, some people were acting out some scenes from AVPM (A Very Potter Musical). Epicness everywhere tonight. Only one and a half more hours to go!

17 freaking hours and counting! And, to gear myself up, I didn't sleep. That's probably going to bite me in the ass later, as I never do well with pulling all nighters anymore, but I just couldn't sleep. I ended up watching A Very Potter Musical, and A Very Potter Sequel and all the episodes of the Potter Puppet Pals. So.. yeah.. I'm all set for midnight. These last remaining hours better go by so fast, I need my Harry Potter fix!

I feel in love with the anime, Eden of the East. I watched all 11 episodes and the two movies today. There's just something about the concept, the story that really caught my attention. I highly recommend this one. It's nowhere near Elfin Lied or Ergo Proxy to me but it's still really good and I enjoyed it immensely. I only started watching it because of J. Michael Tatum, who alongside Greg Ayres, is like one of my all time favorite voice actors. But, as I said, I was surprised how interesting I found the show and movies to be. Definitely one to re-watch.
One of these days I will learn Japanese so I don't have to rely on dubs or subs for my anime. A lot gets lost in translation sometimes.

I fail so much. I just started rereading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in anticipation for Thursday. Thank goodness I am such a quick reader and have a ton of free time right now, or I would never finish in time. I seriously can't wait for Thursday. It's going to be so hard to watch a lot of my favorite characters die on the screen, and I know I'll be crying probably all of the last half of the film. It's been a decade, ten whole years that Harry Potter consumed my life. I attended five midnight book releases, and five midnight movie premires. It's the one series I can read over and over again and still love like it's the first time reading it. I know the movies by heart, I can recite the books to you nearly word for word. It's going to be hard to actually say goodbye to the franchise. The books are done, and come Friday, the movies will be as well.
I am counting down the hours, the seconds until midnight on Thursday. It's so bittersweet, knowing that I am anticipating this film and yet I am dreading it because it's the end of an epic. Thursday is going to be hard, I just know it. I'm going to pick my mom up from work at six, then it's right to the theatre to get my ticket and que up. Those last hours before the show starts are going to be the hardest. But, it's going to be fun, and I have such high hopes for the film. They can't screw it up, they just can't. So yeah, I have to go start the last book now. :]

I got my hair cut today. I'm not really all that happy with it. I don't like the bangs. I haven't had bangs for a number of years now, I prefer my hair to be one length, but for some reason today, I said do it. I think it was the sleep deprivation.
Hideous, I know. On the bright side, I did get a new purse so that made me happy. I swear.. sometimes I can be such a girl..

I just got my tickets for the midnight showing of the last Harry Potter movie. Instead of going to the theatre out by my house (because the IMAX show was sold out) we're going to the AMC we used to go to before we moved to Upland. And, it's better because it's where I've seen all the movies (save for the last one) at midnight. So, it's like going back to where it all started for me. I'm so freaking excited! Eight more days. Only eight more days! It's so bittersweet.

I'm having a lot of fun being back in Mada. Of the five Houses I've been in, I think Eternal and Mada are my favorites. It's not like crazy active or anything, but it's active enough for me. I won't feel like I'm missing out on anything if I don't get on for a few days. Plus, the people are just awesome. I think I'll be sticking around for a while. :]
