I watched you disappear before my eyes,

Watched you blur from view.

You said those three words,

The ones used to bond.



I thought they rang true,

My heart sang for you.

But now i see the lies.



You tore out my heart,

And ripped it in two.

How could you be

Such a heartless shrew.



Your words once sweet,

Endearing and true,

Now are poison filled,

Sounding of nothing but deceit.



Your silver tongue,

Now edged like a dagger,

Tainted by the poison,

Running free in your veins.



I see the demon you have become,

Now back away,

For you and i are done.

As light and dark intertwine,

I find that grey area that will be mine.

A place where pain does not exist,

But also where happiness cannot persist.



I feel the void is always near,

That knowledge always brings a tear.

That fateful day in which you left,

Still brings the feeling of regret.



You walked away and destroyed my heart,

And now my life is torn apart.



Shattered dreams and broken hopes,

Feel like a noose made from a rope.

Strangling me until i die,

This shall be my final goodbye.

The path i walked was filled with shadow,

Before you came to me.

You were a light so so bright and filled the hollow

Void inside of me.



Things were perfect,

a dream fulfilled,

until that fateful day.



You left,

It hurt,

The pain intense.

How could you do such a thing?



And now the nights that were filled with joy,

warm and wounderous times,

Are cold and lonely,

Filled with sorrow.

And forever it shall remain.
