"In the Hand of Dante" is a film in which a thief is attempting to steal the Divine Comedy--I find that really funny.

The film is a 2025 drama crime mystery thriller directed by Julian Schnabel, released on Netflix on June 24, 2026.

It follows two intertwined storylines: a New York writer, Nick Tosches, is recruited by a mafia boss to help verify and steal Dante Alighieri’s handwritten Divine Comedy; in parallel, the film also tracks Dante himself as he searches for inspiration while writing his major work. Oscar Isaac plays Tosches and Dante, and the film includes an ensemble cast such as Gal Gadot, Gerard Butler, John Malkovich, Martin Scorsese, Al Pacino, and Jason Momoa.

Interesting! I was recently labeled a Satanist by someone, & I will add their label to the others. According to them, I am, among other things: a demon, devil, son of Satan, vampyre, djinn, dead man, ghost, spirit, and—most recently—a deceiver.

At one time they called me an angel. Then I met someone who said to me, "I was an angel until I met you."

Fallen: Not a bad flick with Azazel as a character. Azazel is widely used in literature, theology, and popular culture.

Apocryphal tradition: In 1 Enoch and related Enochic literature Azazel is a prominent leader of the Watchers who taught humans forbidden arts.

"I caught you," he said to a woman. "Why are you buying so much of that incense?" he thought as I picked up twenty sticks. Who I encountered yesterday wasn't Azazel, but he claimed a connection to Azazel. I run into a strong influence of Azazel when I visit a very specific location. The influence is not overwhelming; it is just very obvious to me that a ritual took place which included Azazel, and I suspect the rutuals still are.

It has been confirmed. Azazel is influencing the location. I was there about an hour ago and have zero doubt. The place is quite beautiful, it is also connected to hell in more ways than 1.

I recall walking into the space some time ago. There was a man several steps in front of me. As I was walking in, someone was greeting him with the words: "Hello Azazel." He then disappeared behind a curtain into a side room.
