Watch 'The IT Crowd'.
It's life altering.
Journaling this simply because I think it's funny and very telling.
However, we saw a man on the side of the road today and he was selling flags. We stopped. I noticed that he had very large flags of the confederacy. I asked the man where his nazi flags were. He seemed confused and asked me what I was talking about. I said, you sell confederate flags, you must have nazi flags. He said that the flags were about heritage.
I said yes, because Germans are always going around with nazi flags, talking about how it's all "heritage."
I actually think it's despicable that the Confederate flag flew at the state capitol until as late as 2015! But we still have good ole Confederate Memorial Day.
WOOOOOOOO! The KKK in Kentucky would be proud.
As someone who lived in the south, I would try to explain. But I don't think they know what it means. I think they think it's about being a southerner lol I don't think they're being hateful.
