Time to cook on the grill tonight. I still have so much chicken left from last year's batches, and with the new flocks coming in next weekend, I need to make room in the freezer...

Shot an event tonight at the Statler. It is an old hotel, in the midst of being rescued. Amazing architecture. They have completely restored the lobby and grand ball room, and hold events there to help raise money for the rest of the restoration.

Early flight.



Looks like an all nighter.

That took longer than I anticipated, but it was a great meeting.



Time to plan. I have a month. Then another month for stage 2 and one more month for stage 3.



Once it is completed though, this will be huge. I'm stoked!



Need to look at flights again....

Got invited to the Sabres game for tomorrow night.



Going to start my morning by meeting with a magazine editor to plan out the start of shooting creative and artistic fashion spreads for advertisers.



Not a bad way to spend a Sunday before more travel. :)

Fantastic day for a hike. The pooch didn't much appreciate the post-hike bath, but it was a necessity.



Too many people out there today though. And idiots that don't know how to leash their dogs.



Lady: Is your dog good with other dogs?



Me: Yes.

Really? But if your dog is a douchebag you're not going to control him at all?



Me: You NEED to keep your dog leashed out here.



Lady: Oh, he's fine.



Me: Yes, that is what everyone says about their dog before they post the "Lost Dog" poster at the top of the trail.

It never fails to amaze me how many cases I see on tv about unleashed dogs, from people who always say "Oh he's fine off the leash". He may be, but I'M not.

Huh. She's practically famous... whaddaya know?

After a weekend like this one, it is so great to have a guy friend to bounce thoughts off of, and help work out in my mind what happened, how to approach things going forward, and the path I want to take.



People really make life a rich tapestry....



...if only more of them had the ability to be honest with themselves.
