Day 4.
Meeting cancelled.
Interviewing potential employees that will work on my projects.
Seems typical, right? I don't think I've had a managerial position, or supervisory role on a contract that didn't expect me to ramp up a team within a week of starting...
Day 3 went swimmingly well. I didn't get a parking ticket even though the meeting started late, and ran long, and I was home by 1PM for lunch.
YAY!
Day 2 and we're getting deep into it.
Absolutely ironic how this has come full circle...
2nd on the list - score box seats to the Beyonce / Jay Z show. The counterpart will love that.
She made me promise her we'd never end up with the attitudes of our parents.
I don't see this as a problem. Our parents' generation is mostly narrow-minded, lacking critical thinking, and against anything, or anyone who doesn't conform to their current world view.
Her worry is that as we get older, we'll just become them. We're not now, but what about in 30 years when we're their age?
Conscientious vigilance, and never losing our empathy. We'll be fine.
She amazes me.
5 Days...
...and Anthony Bourdain? Fuck that. He's a good guy. I got to meet him once along with Zamir Gotta.
Whatever, world. Whatver.

I know right.
I am still shocked. I loved his show. Mental illness sucks. I had no clue he suffered from depression. On his show he was always laughing. I guess you just never know sometimes. :( I loved how his show spotlighted all the different countries and there food. RIP Anthony. :( Very sad about this.
it's tough. As I said in my blog, sometimes it might not be about mental illness. It might be about mental clarity and just knowing, you've had enough of the shit this world dumps on everyone.
I’m heartbroken. I was watching his show, the San Francisco episode, and he literally walked in front of Neinmortlan’s station.
