Trivia:
How many grooves are there on a record?
..enjoyed a day of cooking and baking with the kids. Made a Pokemon Ball cake for my son's birthday. It didn't turn out great, but it turned out ok...
I need more practice with baking.
Got to enjoy some good football today. The local game was very entertaining with the exception of listening to my father grumbling that we were watching football instead of the Yankees' game. *eye roll*
Sunday's past labor day are for Football.
Now I need to spend some time with Morri...

The cake is awesome. A 3D pokemon ball cake, c'mon that is badass and the kid couldn't get it anywhere else!
Kids appreciate a parent's time and effort more than anything else, so kudos for being a parent who spends time doing stuff for the kids :)
I love to bake. One day, when I make it up to that frozen tundra of a wasteland you live in, I'll teach you how to make maple bacon cupcakes. I don't know if they're any good or not. (you know, me being the veg-head and all) But everyone else says they rock. lol
If it has bacon in it, it has to be ok.
I have added even more outrageous images from yesterday's Dirty Girl Run to Living in the Buff on Facebook. Go check them out!

Absolutely hilarious. It looks like a battleground!
I love the nuns and the devils! Oh, wow, I hope they do something closer to Texas! I'd travel to do this. :)
Damn that mud-slide looks like fun. Great photos for a great cause.
Muddy Otter... looks like a happy Otter. :)
And I love the water shots, a second in time is right.
Those pics are awesome. Good for you, Morri....I bet you had a blast. (hovever, that mud, much like sand, will definitely gather in places not so comfy)
I love the fat mama shots rolling in the mud!
Morri was fierce today - not even a face full of mud slowed her down!
Check out the new images at Living in the Buff on Facebook.

wow a woman full of courage :) awsome :)
These are seriously some of my favorite photos of all time. Everything you captured of the race is both hilarious and badass. So awesome!
Wow, you have captured some seriously good action images there Birra :)
The Dirty Girl 5K run is today - head to Morrigon's Journal and give her some love.
Of course I'll be posting pictures of all the muddy goodness!
...and we are merely players. Performers and portrayers.
Rush sang something similar to that (yes, I know the actual lyrics).
But, stages. A place to perform, or more of like a rocket stage? Something that was once useful that you now much shed to complete your mission - your journey.
Here is to shedding the old stages.
After making my last journal entry I accidentally clicked on a link to another time in my journal section. I often go back and look at some of my poetry mainly to compare what I write today to where I restarted...
...but this was a section dedicated more to my past travels and work.
I read.
I read my stories of where I had been. I read about my feelings, my trials.... where I was in life and where I planned on going. I read more and more entries, remembering what inspired them.
And then I paused.
And I considered what I would write if I were to write a similar open and honest entry about where I am today.
I can't.
Can't even bring out the words to explain it. I'm not sure if anyone could understand.
I have a lot of running to do to catch back up to my past self....
COMMENTS
Why would you want to catch back up with your past self?
Because it was a better time and I was on a better path...
...I need to find that again and get back there.
B, you'll never catch up to your past. Just be patient, because it will definitely catch up to you.
I do that on occasion. It helps me to see that while I may have bad days now, I have come such a long way form the disaster I used to be.

I thought there was going to be some technical answer like "One for every minute of music or sound," etc .. but, yeah, how would the needle get from one to the next? heh.

And and and... if you're tricky enough, you can skip to certain parts. :P

While I don't generally disagree with the above statements, there are records that have more. Such records contain locked grooves and are usually popular with the techno crowd. An above average example of this would be Speedy J's Loudboxer double disc album which contains 50 locked groves per side.

I was going to say - depends on how good the music is. (how much I groove to it)

What's a record? lol
That would be Savannah's response.
