The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

In the real life communities I run with I know lots of people from all different cultures and subcultures and one thing that has been on my mind lately is the question...



Do we really need to blend into mainstream society or not? Does wearing all black make you more of a vampire, witch or whatever than the one who wears blue jeans and regular "street" clothes. Sometimes I think people dress to the extreme out in public for simple shock value. I call it "scaring the straights" and on occasion when the mood hits me, Ill go all out but in everyday life, I can pass for your everyday woman, until you get to know me then you realize that I am in fact...bat shit crazy and happy with that.



Personally it really depends on where Im going. I guess because Im somewhat older, Ive learned through time that sometimes you have to dress the part of a regular person to get what you need. I also know that how I dress doesnt change who or what I am.



Is society prejudicial on judging how we dress or look? Hell yes it is. Is that fair? Hell no it isnt but the world is what it is and its not how you look, dress or present yourself that make you what you are, its whats inside and no one can change that

It is all about the situation I agree. When dealing with a job or even with respect for some you need to watch what you say and how you dress. You can still be you while having respect for others. Do unto others is a great rule. Someone is rude to you feel free to be rude back. If you are rude you should expect it back. I am glad to have read this. The world owes us nothing and I am glad you agree. Not liking most people being raised today believes the world owes them fairness or more.
