It's been a while since

I've looked at myself

straight

I guess it's cause

every time I saw my

own face

all I wanted to do was

annihilate

I took for granted what I had

never imagining

it was more then a simple fad

but I was wrong

and it no longer matters

if I belong

I wish I could back and change

these past years

but I now realize

if that was to happened

life for others

would never be seen

through others eyes

I'm not complaining

or refraining

trying to keep others

from not feeling pain

I'm just saying that

the choice was sane

I still sometimes look back

and ask why me..?

but I now understand

that it's a waste of time

life is what it's meant to be

it doesn't matter if

the other person is

without me

just as long as

they're happy
