This story came to mind today when I read some journal's but replace the child with a dog. Sorry, I just had to post this:

When I was little I was obsessed with bugs, especially army ants. I used to see them carry around their dead ant friends and thought it was sweet. I never considered for a minute they were going to eat them!

i remember when i was little my mom use to take me to the beach oh man did i get sun burned that day so did my mom but she taned afterwards. we ended up going home after a long day at the beach and layed down on the couch to watch m.a.s.h what memorys those are
We have a river here, Fisher River, and I remember going as a kid and even being 100% Cree I would burn. Then when we came home mom would put vinegar on us. Many a night I went to bed during the summer smelling like a pickle.
Childhood memories that as I grew up, I realized things were not as they seemed.
Hmmmm....Where do I start?
- The Pastor and most other adults in the Holiness Christian Church was doing the most sinning
- You won't bleed to death if you cut a mole off your skin
- My Mother was incapable of living independently from her Mother while having 3 kids
- That Pastor really wasn't my "Godfather"
- Bills weren't really getting paid at home
- My oldest Sister was my Half-Sister
- Santa Clause, Easter Bunny, and Super Powers weren't real
- I was more than Amazing.....I was AWESOME!
