Last year my girlfriend and I went to Cambodia ... this year we are heading to Rome in September. This time instead of getting a guide, we are planning to go free and easy. That way we can explore the place at our own phase. Our guide at Cambodia was awesome but we felt that everything was a bit rushed.

And this time ... my girlfriend will be inviting one of her friends along ... so it will be 3 girls running amok!
We all have designated duties .... my friend will be in charge of getting the accommodation. Her friend will be planning the itinerary and I will in charge finding great places to nom (no surprise there).

I don't have any friends in Rome ... :( It would have been so much easier if we had 'connections' ..... ugh!

It has been a very difficult day for me ... I made the decision to part with my Burberry Haymarket. If you didn't know ... I have an unhealthy obsession with handbags ... so that makes this whole thing even more heartbreaking. The Haymarket was the very first handbag I bought, the starting point to my madness.

I always tell my friends that I replace the men in my life with handbags. Naturally the Burberry represents my very first boyfriend. A huge mistake ... lol ... it was all beautiful at first ... then I realized that it hardly matched any of my outfits ... the leather started cracking ... and now it is just sitting on my shelf reminding me how I wasted my money :p

So ... I am going to sell it off or give it to a relative ... I getting rid of my excess baggage ... literally and figuratively

Fine ... i may or may not have done it .... but thats besides the point. The point I was the first suspect. It was almost like missing food = cubby ... no need to check anyone else. I feel a little insulted *shifty eyes*

Went to temple this New Year Morning ... we always do ... an auspicious start to brand new year. Kudos to me for tolerating the crowd and not fainting.

Anyway ... this year is going be fabulous ... I am going to make sure of it. Most of my new year resolutions have been centered around my family and it is no different this year. I want to bring them out more often ... so if you know me on Instagram ... lol loads more pictures of travel and food coming up lol ...

Well both of the fitness tracker I bought died on me. So I bought my 3rd one over the weekend. I got the FitBit Charge 2. It has a lot more features than my old Actxa one. I was having trouble deciding between Charge 2 and Blaze but after consulting my friends, I decided to go for Charge 2. For those who know me well enough ... I am a foodie. I don't eat much meat but that has never stopped me ... lol ... So this fitness tracker is absolutely necessary to keep me in shape.

In other news ... I have decided to give myself another chance at dating. I think I deserve it. I have stayed single for far too many years. I have passed the 'marriage age' and my family is really upset about it. I don't want to put them or myself through this. I am going to put extra effort in finding someone. Whether it is going to arranged or whether I am going to meet someone myself ... I am going to do it! I am not going to use 'commitment issues' as an excuse anymore.
