I am happy he enjoyed his birthday ... after all these terrible years. Finally he got a normal birthday. A birthday cake ... a few gifts ... many well wishes and loads of love. He deserved it :)

Dear Diary ...
I have always had clear skin but due to recent stress I have been having bad acne breakouts.
Initially I thought they were random pimples but they got worst over time.
The first thing I tried was some off the rack pimple gel but it did nothing to help the situation.
Then finally when I consulted my family physician, he told me I was having an acne breakout. I was honestly in shock and almost in tears. He later prescribed me some acne medication which I am currently using.
I have also started to use a D.I.Y honey and cinnamon mask that is said to help reduce acne.
This is my final attempt. If I don't see any improvement, I will be consulting a dermatologist.
I have stopped wearing any type of makeup in fear of agitating my skin further. I am forced to go to work bare faced. And my colleagues constantly talking about my skin condition isn't making me feel any better.
The past few months have been really hard on me.
I know beauty is only skin deep but having to stare at a scar riddled face in the mirror everyday has taken a toll on me. I feel emotionally exhausted.
I drink loads of water and eat healthy. I am doing everything in my capacity. But nothing seems to be working.
I have even stopped getting on webcams because I no longer feel comfortable with myself. Again I know the way I look shouldn't matter, but still I feel conscious.
I really really really hope my skin clears up. I have an important wedding to attend in 2 months. I cannot imagine facing my 'nice' relatives with the skin condition I have now.
