What I was thinking while you were sleeping

As some of you know I don't sleep... I stare at the walls.... Count the crickets outside... Listen to my neighbors dog bark... sometimes when I'm really lucky I'll catch a wonderful 2 or 3 hours of sleep, but on the other nights I stare out into the blackness I think on things... I don't get up I still lay there just to let myself relax unwind and enjoy the silence... I don't get much silence... So I think on all kinds of things... Here's a sample of what rattles around in there when I can't sleep.....

Last night for some reason it was Words.... So I give you "Words"

Words I am always careful with my words.... I am very aware that something so simple as just one word can have such a profound impact on someone. How we use our words can have a lasting impact on another.

There are some people who feel the need to use their words constantly and without regard for them.

We need to hear words from one another. If we don't sometimes it can have a devastating impact and cause such heartbreak and sorrow.

Some words can cut us deeper than a knife and wound our soul forever.. Some words are blurted out in the heat of passion, but once said cannot be taken back or ever forgiven......

Other words can make us so happy and give us the confidence we need feel we can conquer the world. Compliments can make us feel beautiful, make us hold our heads up just a little higher, walk a little taller...

Words can bring us the worse news imaginable and change our world forever. Those words can bring us to our knees... Those words can making us curse our next breath and pray for death before another word could slip from a messengers lips....

Words can contain the sweetest questions ever heard... For those worded questions can change our lives forever... Hold the keys to our future and hope for our dreams...

Entire nations and civilizations have risen and fallen by words spoken by great leaders... But great speakers have also used their words to kill thousands of people... Words have the power to mesmerize and transform all who hear them..

First words out of the mouths of our children can be the most precious things ever heard. They can also hold our embarrassments when out of those same mouths are repeat every curse word or gossip you've ever uttered at the most awkward of moments....

Words can catch us in lies.... Show our true character... Make others trust us... Fall in love with us... Or hate us...

The last words ever heard by a loved one are played in our head over and over again.... And those words are constantly feared lost over the passage of time...

Words in print can make or break someone entire life... We are constantly being judged as a person by our words, graded and compared to others...

Our words here online can bring joy, make friendships, and enrich lives.. Some have used their words to find online romance and love...

God used words to punish and has used his words from the bible to command his people through the ages.....

And the greatest words to hear I Love You are the most sought after words and all anyone needs to hear...

Silence can be so loud that it has been known to drive people mad... Words are so important that when spoke language isn't possible we do it with our hands...
