I now feel sorry for every schmuck I know that has done computer support over the phone. I spent 15 minutes trying to explain something very BASIC over the phone with no results. I think hitting myself in the face with a brick would have been less painful.

And jesus buddy... when I tell you that you're in the webmail, you're in the fucking webmail. You just look like a genius when I have to walk across the building to close your webmail, and open your desktop mail for you. It's not rocket fucking science.

I've been doing I.T tech work for years. Trust me when I say this; it only gets worse.

You will physically lose brain-cells. Contempt for humanity will grow to a point that super villains pale in comparison.

YOU WILL KNOW HATE!!

My friend did tech support forever! He had some pretty good rants about the obvious things people could not figure out. I will miss those rants. He got promoted. LOL

I kinda' feel your pain, as I am sometimes one of those computards that need help!

(For me, discussing ancient Egyptian texts is easier - lol)

Still alive.

I'm just spending way too much time at work, and what little time I'm not working I spend with the baby... and occasionally I sleep.

I hate how much time I spend working. I feel like I'm missing out on so much by giving up all of that time I could be spending with her.

Time for me to take a 4 hour nap before going back to the rat race.

:(...try to take good care of yourself...and the lil' one. You need more rest, of course.

I'd like to say I'm adjusting to the heat, but I'm not. I never really adjusted to it the first time around either.

So I hide indoors. With airconditioning... and several fans.

I'm feeling pretty forgotten these days...

almost like I'm at the ass end of a case of 'out of sight, out of mind'. It's not a very fun place to be.

I'm also stuck in a funk. All I do is take care of the munchkin, and go to work. I'm back to full swing working my ass off. From this Friday to next Thursday I'm scheduled to work a minimum of 76 hours. We'll see how that goes.

I was also thinking about making more jewelry in my spare time (as if that actually exists), and selling it online. I'm not sure people would buy it though. I guess I could always test the waters and see how it goes.

The kindle my sister got me for my birthday is my new favorite thing. I like books, but the ebook has a few specific advantages. I have over 150 books on my kindle already. Have you ever moved 150 books? I have. I actually think I have way more than that, and they're a bitch to move. (Especially that giant hardback complete works of Shakespeare nightmare hahaha) Plus I can also nurse while reading the kindle. I can't imagine having to turn pages on a book with a baby on the boob. I'd probably drop it constantly (the book, not the baby). So yeah, hooray ebooks.

wow, that is one hell of a lot of hours! isn't there a law against that in America? You have to look after your health considering you have only recently given birth!

I hope that that funk flows away quickly, and that you are able to have more time for fun stuff, ie making jewelry and reading!

And believe me - I know what it's like to move close to 1,000 books, as I just did it over a month ago - lol! (I refuse to part with them though).

I hope things get better for you!
