The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Short seeing.
Night.
Warm out.
With a bunch of people, a crowd.
All wondering wtf we are doing there.
Big bright flash of light.
Everyone looks up.
There is a full moon halfway down the sky.
Up a lil higher and to the right of the moon is a red orange fireball of light.
Now I can feel the skin on my face burn slightly.
The way a sunburn feels.
While we all look up at the fireball another pops off close to it.
Everyone knows for sure what the fireballs are now.
Nuclear explosions.
EMP.
A nice double tap.
Everyone scatters.
I find myself someplace else.
Warning a friend.
The power is still on atm.
Few minutes pass and then it isn't.
People walking around asking what has happened.
Clueless.
Unprepared.
Fucked.

Some guy in my face. Dark hair. Pale face. A vampire.
Waking up IN lala land already reacting to this guy.
A bone with a serrated edge is in my hand.
As wide as my hand.
A slash across his cheek.
Cut opens up and then closes a few seconds later.
Another slash across the side of his neck.
Opens and closes.
"How are you doing that?" he asks.
He holds a hand up to me and I slash it.
Same result.
He chuckles.
Another slash across his cheek.
Before it could close I crossed the short distance between us.
Very fast.
One fluid motion.
Grabbing his head and slamming my mouth upon the still open slash.
Pulling hard and fast, just about drained everything within him.
Took all of two seconds.
Looking around, he is no where to be seen.
Then the taste of him hits me.
Horrible.
Couple dry heaves.
The way you would think sewage would taste.
Then the surge hits.
Can feel my face changing.
My jaw narrowing.
Cheek bones pushing out slightly and up.
Eye sockets moving closer top to bottom and yet at the corners turning up into a curve.
Eyes receding a bit but also more focused like emerald fire.
Joker smile with fangs against my lips.
My whole face elongating vertically slightly.
"Oh...I remember this...been so long."

I opened my eyes fully awake from sleep.
Awesome.
Other than the lingering foul taste in my mouth I felt grand.
Later, sitting in a parking lot, feeling and knowing where everyone was without looking was starting to drive me batty.
Hyper aware.
Sitting there replaying what happened in my mind.
A voice chimes in.
"You almost killed me."

"That's what ya get for getting close. However thanks for the wake up call." I think/say to whoever.
