Well, maybe in the Wasteland~
So I'm dumb. No surprise there xD Recently I was under the impression that my base gun, the Fixer, had been altered in game to naturally include +40% armor penetration. This is not true. It's actually in the Magazine. The Fixer naturally comes with a Perforating Magazine which is what puts the armor pen on your gun, which I always modify into a Swift Magazine for the extra ammo capacity, and slightly lessened AP usage. And this is why you should pay attention when you mod your weapons because is it a fair or better trade to double my AP to 6, which is still really low, to gain +40% armor penetration? Yeah, I think that's more than fair especially if you have awesome AP regen/Grim Reaper's Sprint/a shitton of AP regen canned coffee on hand. It is a slightly noticeable AP difference, you can tell it's using a little more. But... I'm killing things faster. As always, too fast for some people. I was in Moonshine Jamboree earlier, doing my thing, and some melee bitch jumps up onto the roof I'm on to stand right in front of me, making a stand against me obviously since... you can't shoot melee. Look, when I'm in an event, I'm not paying attention to whatever YOU'RE using, and if you foolishly choose to show up with a melee weapon against everyone else using a gun, no, I'm not holding back, I'm not giving you pity kills, if it moves then I'm shooting it whether you're going after it or not. Be mad, be a baby, try to block me, fail, watch me go on with my life. Way to stick it to me by jumping up in front of me, and forcing me to move one step over. What a hero.
Since this guy wanted my Gulper kills so badly... I took the 300 meat from every kill I made, waited til it was nearly rotten, and deposited it onto the bed in his camp. You're welcome, fucker, you deserve to enjoy~
Finally unlocked the Explosive mod crafting legendary. Game still refuses to give me Quad or Vampire, but we'll get there. Explosive can sell for quite a bit although VATS Optimized is probably my bestseller, goes for at least 10,000 caps each, costs only Sugar to make. I've been spending my money lately trying to unlock serum recipes which cost about 22,000 each, the best ones in my opinion anyway, Marsupial, Bird Bones, Egg Head. Some you need for crafting mods, but also good to sell for cheap, usually about half what you'd give Enclave boy, Modus. Of course, you can still go old-fashioned, and get your mutations via munching irradiated goo til you glow, which honestly should be a thing, imagine all the glowing Bloodied builds... But doing that won't guarantee you'll get the mutations you want, and you might end up with them all like I did, some having no benefit to your character, some actually being detrimental. I have money to burn, and like handing out stuff for cheap if not free, and once the recipes are unlocked they're actually pretty cheap to make, mostly Flux. It's nice being higher level where I can fine-tune my character exactly how I want her. It's nice not worrying about my level at all. I mean, what's the next goal, 2000 by next December? Nah. I've gone up a single level since hitting 1000, I'm good. There are crazy people who are higher than me who didn't even start in in 76 til the show came out last March. You gotta have zero life to be on that much to get there that fast. Hey, more power to you, Fallout is a great series that deserves more recognition. You would've thought a titan like Microsoft acquiring Bethesda would have vastly improved it... But you'd be wrong. It still blows my mind how badly they bungled their own holiday event like... did no one playtest this shit? Please, may the same thing happen to Fasnacht Day xD That would make my year to see all the idiots shitting themselves if they didn't get their precious Fasnacht~
Also... And here we go... I'm already annoyed with the, "Vaati was right all along, all Souls games are connected, he's the unequivocal master of FromSoftware!"
Shut the fuck up.
Anyone... even remotely into the lore of FromSoftware, particularly the Souls games with which I include Bloodborne, could see the connections in all these games via Elden Ring. You don't have to be a "Lore Master" to have seen that. And saying that anyone is a Lore master, and knows everything about the Souls series is entirely false because you never really KNOW anything. That's the point. These games are, and have always been up to player interpretation. It's your journey, it's your experience, it's up to you to decide what the fuck you think happened in these ruined lands based on the world clues you find. Vaati makes great videos, very detailed, but mostly SPECULATIVE lore insights. Because in every Souls game you get there too late, you get there exactly after all the shit has already gone down, you're basically the clean-up crew trying to figure out how to salvage what's left from the massive unknown world-changing events that have already happened. You get there AFTER the fall of Anor Londo and the Lords, you get there AFTER the hostile take-over of Nashandra, you get there AFTER the fall of Lothric, you get there AFTER the beast plague ravages Yahrnam, you get there AFTER the shattering of the Elden Ring. You get there too late to stop any of it, you get there weak, generally undead, and completely clueless in every game, and it's your job to figure out what happened, how, why, and what direction to take the world next. There is no "Definitive Dark Souls Lore Guide 100% Accurate" and people who write shit like that, and profit off of it annoy the shit outta me. I'm not saying Vaati is one of them, but it also annoys me when people thrust his words in your face like it's law just because he makes popular videos on these games. He has some very well thought out, intriguing theories, I enjoy his videos on occasion. I wouldn't say I always agree with him. You shouldn't either. Don't rely on someone else to tell you what your journey is or should be.
Ok... From is fucking with us. Why would there be bosses from previous Dark Souls games in the next Elden Ring release? I don't trust you, Miyazaki🤔
I mean, sure, you can definitely make connections from all the games into Elden Ring, I've been doing that the whole time. But they wouldn't actually literally confirm connect them... There's no way... It's too on-the-nose for them, it's not their way.
Unless... we're getting Dark Souls 4 eventually. Because ya know, Miyazaki said they were done with Dark Souls after 3, and he's definitely NEVER lied to us before.
I don't think my heart can take it.
The funny thing is that Wolfie's avatar on Discord has always been Nameless King. Because of course it is. Coulda been any of the 500 other bosses, nah. Because the Universe loves to constantly kick me in the nonexistent nads~
Shut your goddamn whore mouth, and don't you dare put that out into the Universe💀
Bethesda, in their infinite wisdom, has decided that the festive Scorched, their big Christmas event, can not be fixed right now, and will have to wait til AFTER Christmas.
Instead, they've opted to simply bump up the spawn rate of festive Scorched, but not the drop rate of presents. Nothing multipled by nothing is... still nothing from drops.
Good job, Beth xD
I'm starting to get a feel for running Raids solo in 76... It is possible, but it takes fine-tuning of your equipment and build. Lucky me, now that I've made it to 1000, I'm kinda goaless in game so this is a nice little project. What I've learned so far is that explosive on your weapon helps a lot in the first phase. The weakness of the sentry bot is on it's back which is really hard to hit when it's constantly tracking you, constantly gunning you down. If you aim for the platform it's on, then explosive bullet damage will hit around to the back. It might take a few minutes, but it'll get there so you can actually do damage. Troubleshooter legendary is also necessary as it negates-15 damage from robots on every piece of armor you have equipped, and adds +15 against robots. It's still going to eat you up in damage though so Super Stims are a must, along with a Vampire weapon if you got it. Vampire refills your health upon attacking enemies, but unfortunately it's one of the mods I don't have unlocked to craft yet. I really need Vampire and Quad. Recently they buffed my weapon, the Fixer, with natural starting 40% armor penetration. It's not retroactive though so my old gun doesn't have it, which is unfortunate because I love my gun, but... that extra armor pen is kinda necessary. So we're looking fo make Fenrir 2, I just need a post-update Quad Fixer to mod.
Holiday Scorched are back for the next few weeks, but appear to be bugged to hell as the spawn rates for presents are abysmal. Having killed probably 50+ festive Scorched yesterday I got maybe 2 presents. It's apparently an ongoing issue, good job, Bethesda. It particularly pisses me off because... The festive Scorched drop the plans for Christmas decorations, and they're only now starting this a week before Christmas. And sure, you have 4 weeks to get all the rewards, but being Christmas related it would make more sense to me to mauve start this event a couple weeks BEFORE Christmas. They do this shit with Halloween too, and it's infuriating because a lot of people take great pride in decorating their camps, especially for holidays, it brings a little bit of joy into the post-apocalyptic Wasteland, and it's annoying the timing they choose to release certain things. And now it's worse because shit just isn't dropping. Personally, I'm not big on Christmas or care enough to decorate much for it, and I already have plenty of tacky decorations from the last couple years. But still. It's always something. I just praised Bethesda for starting to get their shit together, and oh wait, major bug xD Typical.
As of yesterday, all the doubters can kiss my ass because I'm officially level 1000~
This year in video game history, I platinumed Elden Ring, and made 1000 in 76. Big life goals xD And it looks like next year will be big for both these games as well.
Also. I'm gonna give it to the 76 devs, despite the last couple months of major bugs, and controversy, they have put work into the game. Particularly into events.
I've been complaining a long time that older events need a revamp, and it's actually happening. Such as, new Mutation Invasion events like Project Paradise, Free Range, and Campfire tales. Now... Invisible enemies in Project Paradise is kinda nightmarish, especially when I'm the only one who shows up. Mutation Invasion events are always packed so when you get to one late, and it's empty, you know there's a reason why. I still rocked it out on my own with the ceiling Deathclaw method although I would say for next time if I encounter this particular mutation in Project Paradise, probably just gonna skip A, do B and C, completely leave A alone. The issue with doing A is that you have to kill the deer in order to gather their meat, and they're invisible. In B and C, their trough food is laying around the arena, easily seen, picked up, and deposited, no need to kill invisible creatures to get it. So you could probably get B and C fully prepped at the cost of completely staying out of A. You'll still get a friendly animal spawned in the ceiling in A, it just won't be a powerful creature, but if it stays up in the ceiling away from all danger, it doesn't have to be. The other added Mutated events are much easier even with new added enemies. Particularly in Free Range you're now dealing with Cattle Rustlers trying to rustle your Brahmain. Free Range used to be a hard pass for me because there just weren't enough enemies to peak my interest in showing up, but for now, it's a little better. I'd like to see all the events have a mutated variant, it just makes it more fun, and it gets more people to show up. I enjoy my community when I'm in a server that's not full of elitist assholes. Although I kinda enjoy having an excuse to mercilessly kill people for behaving like douchebags so it works either way~
I'm also looking at my characters defense stats, and I am noticing that since the Perk Card update, my defense is slightly higher in physical and energy damage types. You'd think fire would be my main weakness here at only 225 defense, but I full on face-tank the flamethrower assaultrons in Test Your Metal with barely a scratch so extra fire protection is unnecessary. Used to be, back when I first started, fire was basically an instakill no matter how high your defense, but they eventually majorly nerfed it along with laser turrets, and assaultrons beams. I do miss the difficulty of the old days, back before they started to shift the Wasteland into easy mode for the benefit of newer players. It's the fucking post-apocalyptic Wasteland, it's survival, it's supposed to be difficult you assclowns.
Thus is going to be a long one, I can tell xD
I'm not disappointed by this at all. In fact, I'd be pissed if From made a game where co-op was forced for success *cough* Bethesda *cough* Much as I love Fallout, I don't love having entire chunks of the game wherein I have to rely on anyone or completely change my character to go solo. Understandably, 76 is going for a more MMO vibe lately, and I do enjoy a challenge, but the Raids are just not it for me when it comes to fun. They're basically an overly amped Daily Op where in the Daily it's convenient to have three other players there, but totally unnecessary. It's pretty fucking necessary to have other people running around baiting shit in Raids like bullet sponges. It's almost impossible, in my experience, to do it alone.
Now when it comes to FromSoftware games I've always had the opinion that they're a journey better traveled alone. These games have very lonely, you against the world, vibes. A feeling which is only increased by every fucking NPC you encounter ending tragically. I don't mind being summoned in to help people, but I find it more of a hinderence than anything else because most people simply don't know what they're doing. Which is fine, From games are difficult for anyone to start, that's how you learn. But I'm the type of person who, if I see you in trouble, will absolutely throw myself straight into whatever is trying to kill you, even to the cost of my own life. I'm the same way in Fallout, I want to keep everyone alive. The issue is that if we're running a boss together, and I die saving you, you're then most likely to die anyway, and we have to start over. But my brain is wired to help you if you're in danger, it's automatic, it's instinct. That's one reason why I prefer solo, because even with my spirit summon I'm the same way, I want to keep them alive even though they're literally already basically a ghost. There's also the fact that if we're on mic together, and you're shrieking in my ear to save you as a boss chases you across the arena, shut the fuck up, calm the fuck down, turn around, and fight this thing with me xD Because your screaming stresses me out. I can understand having a reaction... but full-on panick meltdown, that's not it. It's just easier doing it myself xD From games are incredibly balanced to do solo, there's not a single boss you NEED to summon for. Not if you're me anyway. Not that I can do the one hit-point run. I enjoy what little sanity I have left, I may be a masochist, but doing a level one, no damage Elden Ring run, that's extremely sadistic against yourself. I get it though. I've played through it like times, and after that many there's really no challenge anymore, you cam run right through the main story in a matter of hours. You want to prolong the challenge, and experience because it's such an amazing game. All the people out there crying, "But Miyazaki said no more Elden Ring," and you believed him, you fools? Why wouldn't they keep Elden Ring going for as long as possible? There are rumors of Elden Ring 2... Miyazaki says they're not working on Elden Ring 2... Let's all take that with a grain of salt. But honestly, you could squeeze a lot more DLC out of Elden Ring for a few more years. Shadow of the Erdtree is the best DLC I've ever played, but therein also lies the issue, making every DLC or extension as good as it is. You don't want a DLC to feel slapped together, and tacked on, I'm looking at you Dark Souls 2. Dark Souls 2 is a great game. I don't like the DLC for it. It all just feels extremely repetitive in that bad way. And I feel like they only added it to really hit the nail on the head that these are the shards of Manus, this IS related to Dark Souls 1. That's the vibe I get anyway, they kinda threw it together to put more Dark Souls 1 into the game, to connect it more, and... I dunno, I liked the fact that it wasn't just a Dark Souls 1 reproduction, it did it's own thing while very subtly dropping underlying hints towards it's origin. They kinda washed that away in the DLC, it doesn't feel good. More than anything I want this new addition to have just as much impact as Shadow of the Erdtree. It took quite awhile to develop, and release, and the whole time you've got these impatient idiots, "Relwase it now. We need it now. It's fine, stop working on it, and just let us play it." Shut the fuck up, and let them perfect it because SotE is about as perfect as you can get, the storyline with Miquella is so good because you go the whole main story looking for him, thinking he's best boy victim who needs tp be rescued because he's possibly the only hope for saving the world, and then it turns out, oh, he's fucking evil, he's the worst one. Which is up to interpretation, and you could justify a lot of his actions with the world he lives in, the way he grew up, the choices he decided he needed to make. Is Miquella truly good or evil? He's a lot like Raistlin, he's both but at the same time neither. He and Raistlin both had this bid for godhood, and Divinity with both extremely selfish motivations, but also at the same time some desire to genuinely make the world a better place, even if their selfishness ultimately outweighed that. They're both willing to sacrifice ANYTHING, and EVERYTHING to reach their personal goals, and one of the most evil things, in my opinion, in their actions are the complete willingness to force control on anyone who defies them. You don't like my choices? You don't want to obey me? Too fucking bad, you'll do it anyway. Raistlin asks, "Is the quest for control over others evil?" Absolutely it is when it's forced. Taking away freedom is evil, it makes you a tyrant even if it's with the intention to do what you think is best for people. Imagine someone in complete authority decides that everyone in the world is going to live in their own personal magic box, and in this box you'll be well fed, you'll be warm, you'll never age, you'll never get sick, you'll be safe from everything, as long as you stay in the box, but you can never leave it, that's the one rule, and if you do you'll be horrifically punished for all eternity. It gives Garden of Eden vibes. You can live in this paradise forever, but don't touch this tree, the literal Tree of Knowledge, of self-awareness, of understanding good vs evil, it's a pretty important plant, some pretty important characteristics that I think humans should have, and makes me think, ok... so Christian God created humans to be mindless, unquestioning, perfectly obedient little lambs? No passion, no ambition, no fire, no creativity, just do what you're told, be mindless, live happy forever with zero struggle, will or personality. Satan is almost a hero in this story because while he's always portrayed as having deep hatred for humans, he's the one who slipped inside, and encouraged us, for better or worse, to open our eyes. Miquella in this instance doesn't want you to open your eyes, he wants the mindless, he offers you a world of 1000 years of kindness and compassion if you'll only close your eyes to all the evil he's done, and obey him absolutely, and if you refuse he will FORCE your obedience. He I'd an excellent villain because I fucking hate him so much xD How are they going to Top that? I don't know. But I don't want them to rush it. Let them cook.
I just saw it, and my heart exploded, and my lungs collapsed😲
Straight from the FromSoftware Heaven's, this is exactly what I need.
"But Miyazaki said no more Elden R-"
You fools~
That's right, we're going back in, and my brain... It's already buzzing... That looked like a Gate of Divinity. But it didn't look exactly like the gate we know. And Night Lord... That would be the Nox, that's who they were waiting for, their, "Lord of Night." See I always thought that was a reference to Ranni, but Ranni is Lord of Stats, not Night. The Nox are kinda like drow. They live underground as punishment, they attack on sight so I would consider them evil, and the ones who ride around on giant ants always remind me of Driders. They also, very importantly, appear to be more matriarchal in nature as the Nox Night Maidens are all female, and the highest of the clerical hierarchy with the Nox Monks being much lower in rank. But obviously you've got extreme Matriarchal themes everywhere in game, just look at top dog Marika herself, look at the Glioam-eyed Queen, look at Rennala. And the interesting thing is that the men in these women's lives often time completely betray, and screw them over. Very true to life~
The lore... it's already rushing back to choke me, and I'm so excited xD
Also interesting... it's got me thinking about Farum Azula. You've got the underground Nox cities being punished, but then you've got the sky city of Farum Azula which also seems to be in a sort of punishment as it's slowly, over thousands of years, being devoured and destroyed by these sky cyclones ripping away at it. Farum Azula seemingly was once on the ground, and was known as the Sun Realm. So you've got the night worshipping Nox, and the sun loving beasts of Farum Azula. We know, in large part, why the Nox are being punished, they created the Fingerslayer Blade, the only known weapon to be able to kill a Two Fingers, and severe your connection to the Greater Will. That's a pretty big blasphemy. So what did Farum Azula do, and why are they even connected to the Greater Will? This is where, for me anyway, the lore gets fuzzy. Because when exactly did the Greater Will come onto the scene? Did it create the world or did it simply find it, and usurp it? That is a main question for me. Because before the Erdtree there was the Crucible, which yes is where the Erdtree sprouted from, but does that mean the Greater Will created the Crucible? I'm not so sure. Before the days of man existed in the Land's Between, the world was inhabited by beasts, which came from the Crucible which was the center of life. It was worshipped by the Hornsent who saw the original beastial abilities such as horns, wings, spikes, etc, as holy gifts. Chief among these primordial beasts were the Dragons, especially the Ancient Dragons who were bigger, stronger, better abilities, the most high among these being the multi-headed Dragonlord. The most interesting thing about the Dragonlord is that he was not just a lord as in highest among dragons, but also an Elden Lord at some point in his reign. But Elden Lord to what divine being? Because an Elden Lord is merely the consort of the divine vessel of the Greater Will, the vessel considered a god in their own right, but not the lord. They are not the vessel themselves. But nowhere does it state that Marika, and this dragon were ever connected. It does however state the the Dragonlord's "god" fled at some point, straight up ran away, abandoning Farum Azula, possibly attempting to sever their connection to the Greater Will similarly to Marika. Why do the Greater Will's chosen always ultimately turn on it, and betray it? Good question. Why is Farum Azula in a state of slow everlasting destruction? Good question. Why did the dragons turn on Leyndell? Excellent fucking question. Is it because of the assassination of Godwyn? We know that Godwyn once ferociously battled a mighty Ancient Dragon to the point of standstill where they ultimately became friends, and when Godwyn "died" this dragon followed him in death, and attempted very hard to save him which only lead to the Dragon's corruption, and shift into an Undead Dragon. There was also the Cult of Dragon Communion where these assholes were literally hunting dragons down to feast on their hearts to gain their draconic abilities. The dragons definitely had fantastic reasons to be pissed off, and done with humans shit so I could see all this leasing to a direct attack on the gleaming human capital of Leyndell. I'm still just very curious about Farm Azula, and it's role in the overall history if the Greater Will. For being the overarching deity of this world... I feel like we don't know enough about it.
What's going on out there?
I need to get outta this hospital, 76 needs me, who's out there protecting the new players xD
Plus... they tried to feed me fish today...
Yep, time to leave🤢
Even making everything pink doesn't make me like heavy weapons or Power Armor💀
Apparently, the new Raids event really, really wants you tp be Bloodied build to have any hope of doing it. I will be cold in the ground before I go Bloodied, absolutely not, and fuck you very much, Bethesda. Bull. Shit. You want a balanced game. You literally want everyone go be the same build, it's so fucking boring. Raids are like a bad gimmicky FromSoftware fight. You go through this game wide journey, build your character perfect, but then, oh, you need the special ultra dragon slaying sword specifically to beat the boss, the character you've built up to that point is pointless, nah, get the special sword, and completely reclass your character to use it. Events should be doable, and inclusive to all builds. I'm not saying they should be easy, but dying from a couple bullets because you wanna punish me for not wanting to use PA fucking sucks. And that's what it feels like, punishment for not doing exactly what you want me to do, how you want me to do it. Because that's totally fun, being told exactly how to play or suffer and die. Fuck off, Bethesda, fix your fucking game.
Usernames/levels are back on display with added Player Titles.
I don't necessarily see the point in this. It's basically, hey, pick a few words to describe yourself. "Destroyer of Worlds" is like already the overused, redundant one. If your self-ascribed title is Destroyer of Worlds, I'm just going to assume you're like 13, and avoid you xD
The main update comes in the form of Raids.
Which is basically a team based special event. Make a team of 4, go into the area, do the event. Now... you don't have to be on a team of 4, you can go solo, the game just strongly urges you not to go alone. This was my first instinct when I got on, test it out on my own before jumping into a team so I'm not the asshole who doesn't know what they're doing. Well, a few tries later, and I still don't know what I'm doing xD Because fuck Raids. Basically, when you first go in you're immediately put up against a mini boss, a beefed up Sentry Bot with homing missles, and minigun that can, and wilk kill you in a few hits. You have to take down it's shield generator before you can damage it. Good fucking luck. I don't see how having three more people there would even help unless one of them is seriously tanky because that thing 100% has Armor-piercing shots. And the thing about Raids is, you get one life, once you're dead you're out. I've got the best armor in game, and one of the best weapons, and I can barely touch the thing. So I'm going to try to figure out a separate build possibly just for Raids. My perk cards didn't take much of a hit with the changes, mostly turning a couple points over to Endurance from Charisma. I may have to invest in an explosive build to take that fucking robot down, which I hate to do. I did notice that explosive weapons in general seem to be doing less damage, but they're now setting enemies on fire. My damage... It's basically still the same, though I notice I'm doing slightly less against Super Mutants specifically. Combat Inhibitors on robots are no longer a weak spot, but aiming for the torso does just as well. Everything else seems pretty much the same. I did also notice though, now that my level is appropriately showing on my character, people are suddenly not trying to fuck with me anymore. Imagine. Every fucking day when it was all anonymous, assholes everywhere. Now... people are back on their best behavior. Come on, what happened to constantly getting in my face, 200s? Pathetic.
Perfectly on schedule for once in my life xD So now I have exactly three weeks til I leave for vacation, three weeks to get ten levels done is easy especially with the new season starting on Tuesday. I'm a little worried about the changes they're making, whether I'll have to completely overhaul my build or not... We'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully, if nothing else, they finally fix some of the glaring bugs going on, I'd really like the usernames fixed. Look, I don't even care about the actual names, I don't give a fuck if your name is Dumbfuck42069 because honestly anything ending with either 420 or 69 is an immediate avoid from me, grow the fuck up. But. I like to know how many people are around me, where they're at, and what level they are.
I've come to the conclusion that I will no longer be helping Bloodied builds because if you actively choose to be super low health in exchange for high damage, you get what you deserve which is to die over and over~
Well. As I suspected... It's now Saturday night, and I haven't been on 76 since Tuesday.
My double XP weekend... right through my fingers...
But hey. Much as my body resists saying it: Sometimes there are more important things... than video games.
Ick. I feel dirty now💀
Honestly though. You're lucky if you have more important things in life. If you have friends, and family, and people to spend time with. Because not everyone does. As antisocial as I tend to be, I'm never alone, and there's comfort in that. Because I've known truly lone souls, I've witnessed the Hell, and misery in people who simply cannot allow anyone to be close to them, even those who desperately try. If you have the ability to love, and be loved, which sounds so easy, you're lucky~
I did get a little bit of playing in today, up to level 983 from 975. If I could get to 990 tomorrow I'd be happy, and since it's fucking cold, and I'm not leaving the house, sounds like a good day to game all day. The problem is that I can't marathon game like I used to. It used to be that I could play 18-24 hours straight without even noticing. Now it's like... 2-4 hours, and I'm good xD I could easily put much more time into gaming, but I do enjoy doing other things so a couple hours a day is usually good for me. Double XP weekends are a bigger grind though, especially when I've already missed half of it. Besides, several months ago all of my idiot Fallout friends told me, "There's no way you'll get to 1000 by the end of December," so I have to, on principle alone, prove them all wrong~
