Vampire's V.S Mutants: My Thought's

07:34 Jul 14 2013
Times Read: 499

I thought this would an interesting topic. Yes, I'm talking about the x-men type of mutants

--------------------------

Like Vampires and other supernatural's, mutants have to stay hidden like us, were not suppose to exist like them. (Minus the fact, that the government doesn't want our kind to be extinct because, we don't exist, technically.) Also, their "gifts" either come naturally to them or their born with it. (I wasn't born with them, I "died" and that's when I (possibly) was given my Empath abilities.)

Like mutants, some of us have one or many abilities, our abilities may differ from one another but regardless, were the same, not by blood, not by a family tree and not by our lives (rather they be the past, present or even the future), were all connected by what we are, rather it be lycan, witch, vampire (of any kind), physic, healer, or an empath.

Some of us want to tell the world what we are, some of us would prefer to remain hidden in the shadows. But, there will always be Consequence's for our actions, and we will pay for them, should we chose to come out of hiding, if we chose to come out of hiding, that is.

We have to be careful who we tell our true self's to. Like, mutants we risk begin exposed to the media, to our enemies, to our allies, to our coworkers, to our families and/or to anyone else who might wish us harm. Yes, I understand that our world today seems to be surrounded by social media sites (examples: Facebook, Twitter and Myspace to name a few) but, this is also another easier way and a very tempting way to reveal our true self's to others, who are not our kind. Would you want to have explain to everyone on your friends list or to all of your followers that your something out of a Hollywood film? I wouldn't, and I'm sure many others on here feel the same way that I feel, the less exposure we put on ourselves, the better off we are. I understand some of the younger ones on this site are confused on what they are, or they feel like their alone. But, for you younger ones who are on here, I promise you that your not alone, you have others who are like you, they will try their best to help you in anyway they can. They to have (possibly) been through what your going through in your life.

Mutants and our kind (if mutants existed) could co-exist somehow, someway with humans without hiding our true self's, then maybe, just maybe this world would be a better place. Who am I kidding? Our world wouldn't be prefect, we'd be thrown in nuthouses and in jails just for begin who we are. Why? Because mortals only understand what they want to understand, or what their mind's will let them understand. This why we should never reveal our true self's to the outside world because, mortals (no offense to any of the users on here who are on here) would never even begin to grasp the concept that vampires and other supernatural's exist.

-----------

This was not meant to be bash anyone on here, it was just an idea that came to my mind. My grammar is really bad. Sorry. Also, I'm sorry if I sound politically incorrect, this was just the thoughts that were rolling around in my head.

Please comment on this if you want, I'm interested in what you guys have to say. I also don't think this is finish in the least bit.

Thank you for reading.

Vampyre Etiquette-The Black Veil (An Older Version)

Vampyre Etiquette - The Black Veil

The "Black Veil" is a code of vampyre etiquette developed by and for the members of the Sanguinary Society. It is based on common sense and a collected from years of experience. Many Societies and Households have their own versions of this mixture of philosophy and ethics. It is the job of a sire to teach the Black Veil to their childe as part of them becoming Calmae.

Treat others with respect and consideration at all times. Get to know them as you would in any other social situation.

It is disgraceful for an individual to represent the scene to any media organization that would exploit and take advantage of the scene. In addition exhibit any behavior which might threaten the community as a whole, such as attracting negative media exposure or the interest of fundamentalist religious groups.

Honor thy elders, it is proper bow to them or more formal greeting as one would nobility. They are to be addressed as Sire, Milord or Milady at havens and society functions.

Do not approach, make advances on or touch anyone's thralls or children without permission. If you wish to move on someone's kitra (vampyres lover / soul mate) ask permission from both members of the relationship in a polite manner.

First names and pseudonyms usually are used within the scene. Everyone's personal identity is confidential, so avoid using last (or real) names in meetings and pseudonyms in scene settings.

Bloodletting and or blood drinking is not considered proper in a haven or publicly, nor is drinking from unwilling individuals.

During Court, fledglings are to be seen and not heard.

When greeting another sanguine it is proper to employ the sanguine greeting (which varies from scene to scene). Most generally involved the one of lesser notoriety initiating an exchange of kisses on the back of each hand.

Vampyres are ladies and gentlemen; the vampyre aesthetic commonly incorporates traditions past eras and the courtly elements of respect between individuals and the genders. Honor and Chivalry are expected to be carried out as if we grew up with such traditions.

Hospitality is one of the most important things for vampyres, try and make your home or haven open to those from other cities, as long as they respect your local traditions and customs. Honor the traditions and customs of the locals of any new domain you enter, you may learn a great deal.

Everyone's opinion is valid, although it might differ from ones own. Honor someone else's opinion as new knowledge and do not condemn it.
