What I don't understand...

17:57 Jun 30 2009
Times Read: 1,129

"As for any photos of Michael Jackson's autopsy (or his body just before or after the procedure), law enforcement officials I've spoken with believe it's very unlikely that any will appear. Jackson's autopsy was very closely watched and guarded, and his body has been locked in a special vault awaiting its transfer to his family."

Source: www.allyourtv.com

Ok... enough about MJ dying. Yes he was talented and his talents will be missed... unless of course we watch and re-watch the hours upon hours of video of him performing in his prime.

What I don't get is the phrasing we use to describe death.

"Jackson's autopsy was very closely watched and guarded, and his body has been locked in a special vault awaiting its transfer to his family."

His body... isn't his body.. him? Ok, there is a cognitive side and a concious side and a personality that is lost in death, however it is still him laying there.

Why not say, "Jackson's autopsy was very closely guarded and he has been locked in a special vault awaiting his return to his family."

I mean, we all know he's dead. Why does his state need to be impersonalized? Does he not deserve the respect of still being... Michael Jackson?

Am I making sense?

Yeah but still, if you say he has been locked in a vault it seems like it's wrong to do to him. Maybe it is, I don't know. I just ate lunch. I'm not a genius I DON'T KNOW WHY IS PHOTOSHOP TAKING SO LONG TO LOAD OH GAWD!

I think I typed that out with low blood sugar or something..

"His body... isn't his body.. him?"

I mean to say, his body isn't just his body. It is still him....

I have an SCSI drive that works. At least it did last time I used it. I'm pretty sure its more than 9 gigs though and I'm not sure how many pins it has either. I haven't used the thing in probably 7-10 years

Well.. there isn't any on this front. Apparently the IRS has been pulling numbers out of a hat (or someone's ass) and even submitting them on our behalf to Social Security to make everything look legit.

Maybe we'll get to the bottom of this. I have faith in my accountant and my attorney... but this is beyond ludicrous.

It doesn't matter how well you play the game if those that make up the rules are allowed to break them for their own convenience...

I owe them money, and it's cheaper to pay them than to fight them. Bastards. I hate when principles are more expensive than extortion.

Heh... that's like with anything. Government makes the process of doing battle more expensive than what they want so people just pay it...

You know this makes me furious.. Hell I was the one who asked if there was anything we needed to prepare for as far as complaints of harassment against the people who have caused you this pain AND money.

It does truly disturb me that something of this magnitude can happen because someone has the ability to change any numbers as they wish.

You know that I'm going to be here fighting on your side any time you need me.

You should outsource to India...o.0 Sheesh, and they wonder why large companies do outsource...lol. I suspect that the more that we see people still stuck in the 'me' version of customer service and work integrity, the more we will see jobs fleeing overseas. Lack of personal accountability, lack of personal integrity and lack of just common sense.
