Sometimes I wish there was a word more powerful than love. Love can take so many forms… the love of a friend… the love for a luxury… the love of your children and how you love them back… the love of a lover, mixed with the desires and passion.

There needs to be a word for that. Something other than, love. Something that truly expresses that deep connection you can feel with another person. That longing when you’re not together and the euphoria when you are. Something that describes the way your heart races by her gentle touch and the way her laughter brightens even the cloudiest day. Something that can capture the way her eyes catch the Sun and remind you of the way the Sun glistens off of ocean waves. The way the scent of her hair in the morning takes you to a spring meadow full of wild flowers and waving grasses.

And the way the whole world can disappear when you embrace and make love…

…I can’t think of a word that can convey all of that at once…

Well, perhaps, there is one…

…your name.

That is all I can be at times. I am constantly astounded by your mind; your thought process, your ability to analyze, deduce and express a measured reaction from the outside in. It shows a wisdom most will never possess, or even know.

I am amazed and impressed by you and who you are more often than you can possibly imagine.
