Spiral out. Keep - Going.

What's old is new again.

Except, it's still old.

Just because you move, it doesn't mean you're going somewhere when you only move in circles.

Move, as in you can't run from your troubles, as they are with you everywhere?

Until you do something to actually deal with them, in the spiral you shall remain...

Or like lying to yourself and saying you're making changes, but actually falling into the same repeating patterns over and over...

Nice try

That was a great attempt, honestly. I give you an "E" for Effort.

That's about all I can give you an E for, though.

In other news, people still try to needlessly complicate things. Watching my co-workers go through mental acrobatics to solve a logical problem, to which I provided them the easiest - and most importantly - working solution within about 30-seconds, once I understood their dilemma.

It's not rocket-science.

Unless it is rocket-science.... but this isn't rocket-science.

How to write a children's story:

1. Be a child, or at least as immature as possible.

2. Take a story and twist it around until it fits your vision.

3. Make cute pictures.

4. ....

5. Profit!

Basically, the topic and summary of an essay I recently read.

Funny how well this seems to work, even if the profit isn't monetary.

Oh, what the blind can't see....

Math is Math

If there is an apple, and you only have half of the apple, you don't have the whole apple. Right?

Likewise, if there is a story and you only have one person's side of it, you don't have the whole story.

This is a simple concept. Why is not better understood?

Because the concept inadvertently implies that, whether or not it is based on either parties accurate memory of a situation, someone is lying.

Is some rare cases where you get to hear both sides at once... even then you get both parties correcting or questioning each other's shared 'details' be they minor or major.

The concept sadly, calls someone a lair.

More over, if one is listening to a story and reactswhile being aware that they are only hearing one account of it, they are unrealistic and completely stupid and unable to properly discern things on their own accord. Understanding that people Do lie, and that they also miss-remember things... is a crucial reality they just ignore, for one reason or another; Like say, gossip?

The person listening to the stories is not always interested in the truth as much as what is interesting.

This is a concept that is far less understood, or ignored.

Man, I hate it when someone looks at both halves of the apple and then make a decision based on previous bias. If you're going to make a decision based on bias, then there is really no point in looking at both sides - you may as well just come out and say "I don't believe you so don't even bother telling me what happened - I know all I need to."
