So Trump keeps calling the press the enemy... now we have an attack on a media office near DC.

Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

Compounding this frustration is the fact that I can now work from home.

Ugh. So much for looking forward to those fringe benefits....

Back to the grind.

Spreadsheets.

*sigh*

I have worked on the production of a major motion picture, and my political views are very left-leaning.

Does that officially make me a Hollywood Elitist in the eyes of conservatives? Or is that more of a wealth concept because they don't want wealthy liberals stepping on their status-quo?

Typical one-year-old's birthday party.

Child sits in high-chair being presented with gifts one of the parents are opening.

Older cousins, and kids of party goers swarm said one-year-old and snatch away each gift from the one-year-old as the one-year-old is trying to figure it out.

One-year-old cries, and screams complaints, the only way a one-year-old can voice displeasure.

One-year-old gets shushed and told to stop crying in a way a one-year-old can't really understand.

One-year-old is appeased by the next gift.

Older children promptly snatch it away from the one-year-old.

Cycle continues.

Parents of the older children sit in oblivion to the fact their children are acting like complete assholes to a one-year-old child.

Yikes. Too bad you can't teach other parents how to parent without coming off like a dick.

There has to be a balance, right? I mean, a 4-yr old is just as enthralled by a 1-yr old's gifts, but there has to be a boundary put up by the parents to teach, "No, these are not your gifts. You may play with them, or explore them a little later, but right now you need to give space."

It's not on the kids.... none of them really get it. Unfortunately, neither do the adults apparently.
