Ok, I have been totally aggravated with how horrible new rappers have been for the last 10 plus years.
I was RAISED on Rakim, KRS-1/BDP, Kool G Rap, EPMD, Run-DMC, Public Enemy, NWA, Slick Rick, Beastie Boys, Afrika Baambataa, Gang Star, Tupac, LL Cool J etc--these were the GREATEST MC's ever, this was the 80's.
Then, the next wave, including Biggie Smalls, Wu-Tang Clan, Jay-Z, Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, Black Moon, Leaders of the New School, Snoop Dog, Eminem & Tech N9ne, all bad ass and talented as well, this was the 90's.
The aughts & this decade have been a black hole for new & talented hip hop artists.....Lil Wayne, Drake, Kanye, 2Chainz, Lil Jon, Wake Flocka, Wiz Khalifia, Rick Ross, French Montana, Gucci Mane, etc are HORRIBLE when compared to the MC's that I previously mentioned. Many of these guys are also auto tuned, which is just sorry and pathetic. I can NOT even listen to these horrible artists (I use that word loosely)
Well, I FINALLY found a new hip hop artist from this decade that is NOT auto tuned and can str8 up spit out fire lyrics and flow with some of the greatest rappers and MC's that I have ever heard. She is sooo bad ass that one of the greatest rappers ever (Tech N9ne) really wants to sign her to his label.
I am now a HUGE, HUGE fan of Snow Tha Product.
So, if you're like me & been hating the new rap and hip hop artists from the last 10 plus years, go check out her stuff, it is dope.
She is going to blow up and become HUGE, mark my words!
