Mannaz
Rune of Man
Alder tree, fungi, driftwood, saltwater, hagstones, algae, amber and crabs
This is the rune of mankind, especially the first two progenitors of the human race is Nordic lore- Ask and Embla-created by Odin and his brothers. Because the brothers were personification of will and suffering, in creating mankind with Odin, men were this entwined with Fate being mostly a state of suffering conquered with will and direction. Man is also connected to memory through Odin himself.

However, keep in mind that work with Mannaz takes a lot of energy resource. Using this rune in ritual magic is not suitable for beginners. You need to know your craft.
