Oh my...this is similar to a story - an urban legend really - from Iran, in which a man is about to go completely blind and is worried and upset about his future. His devoted wife offers to give him her eyes to keep him happy (Why both eyes? Anyway)...Once the man gets her eyes, he dos not want the responsibilty of taking care of her, and he no longer thinks that she is attractive - no eyes, you see. So he divorces her and takes a new wife -a younger, prettier one - with sight, of course.
