Greetings,Most know me here as LadyBloodMoon. I have debated for many years about creating this profile. It is very personal, as it is in memory of my dad. My father was a honrable man. He was a great provider for his family. He served in the vietnam war. A decorated Spec 4. He was on the front lines. A very proud man and warrior. A true Mradu. Born in 1950 and passed away in 2006.

I was a daddy's girl. He taught me alot. One of those things was, "Your word is your Bond" You make a promise. You Keep It. He loved to take me fishing. That was our thing, we would take his boat out, make a day of it, and fish for hours. Before the day was done, he always had to throw me into the lake. lol.

Another thing, he taught me to drive. As early as I can remember, he would teach me to drive a stick shift. He wanted me to be able to drive anything. Because Of My Dad, I can drive pretty much anything.

He taught me about hard work, and Independance. He wanted his daughter to be able to handle anything that life thru my way. He made me strong and independant.

My dad and I didnt always talk about personal things going on in our life, but a few years before he passed, we would sit down and talk for hours about different things going on in our life. The last 2 years of his life, we were the closest.

My dad was always my strength and my rock. No matter what happened, he was always there to make things ok.

The hardest life lesson that he taught me, was how to let go. One of the hardest things I ever faced, was holding his hand, as he let go of life. Apart of me died with him. He had a military funeral. When they handed the flag to me, and when they played Taps, I just wanted to crawl in the casket and go with him.

Losing my dad was a true tragedy for me, Part of me died, and another woke up, and became enlightened.
There will always be a part of me, thats daddy's lil girl. His spirit still checks in on me, anytime there is a change in my life, or something that I must face, I feel my dad with me. It gives me strength to keep going.
