Castlevania III incorporates elements from both of its predecessors. From Castlevania I, you have a solid quest. From Castlevania II, you have a choice as to the path you chose.
This game has amazing new features, characters and weapons. You start the game as Trevor Belmnot, vampire hunter who's goal as usual is to kill Dracula. On your quest, you meet up with Sypha, who is a magician with powerful spells. You'll also meet Grant, who is a theif and who may stick to walls and ceilings. You'll come across Alucard, who is Dracula's son. Alucard doesn't offer much other than turning into a bat.
Along the quest there are several new and old monsters, bosses and challenges. This game is very challenging, so much so that it does get annoying, and the game has probably the greatest graphics ever for Nintendo.
