I signed into my facebook acct this afternoon, and the first thing i read is one of my friends back home was killed last night after a 17 yr old attepted to make a left hand turn onto a busy intersection, she struck my friend Dan who was headed East Bound on his motorcycle. I later learned he was pronounced DOA. I am really sad, and can only think of how sad this must be for his daughter...
Lima, N.Y. – State Police say a man was killed in a crash on Routes 5 & 20 in the Town of Lima Monday evening.
State Police say Olivia Luxon, 17, of Lima was driving west on 5& 20 around 6:14 p.m. when she attempted to make a left turn and struck a motorcycle heading east.
The driver of the motorcycle, Daniel Clark, 25, of Springwater was pronounced dead at the scene.
thank you for the kind words... as a woman who was raised around bikers, I have seen many go too soon because of careless drivers, it only takes but 5 seconds to look both ways twice before pulling out into an intersection... it is just very sad.
