We are stained with sin, regrets, and self-hatred throwing us into our own hell time and time again. One's shrouded existence has been the many undoings where the outcome falls short of where we were meant to be. Some of us have come a long way from the days of self-harm and loathing for this World. We are works in progress molded into an artistry of shadows and light, illuminating the World of our creation.
Our histories are foretold within the pillared halls and foundations, built with every experience lived, thrived, and adapted to life. We are still changing, and creating within each experience that comes about a new journey and challenge within this life. Our path is created from our own making, creating each trial, obstacle, and hurdle while overcoming every ordeal life has thrown at us.
Our quiet nature is shrouded in rage which has been touched by hell in this lifetime. We stumble and slip trying to find our inner strength to get back up and fight. Our whole purpose has always been to walk beyond our shadows to right wrongs, by bringing peace and balance to our chaotic existence. It's been a continuing uphill battle on the climb along our paths of existence. We're searching for our light to illuminate our way back home.
Nothing could bring you back from the edge of your hell
Except looking for a safe place when all seems bleak
We seek solace in our dark hidden places cloaked in safety
Longing to walk in anything besides deep seeded Loneliness
We are dreamers in a World of the oppressed and forgotten
Our escape is within what others call Worlds of dreams
We walk amongst the shadow realms of forgotten lives
To free ourselves from the craziness of this mundane World
We walk amongst shadowy Worlds of illusions and mysteries
Standing in plain sight for all to see, yet nothing has changed
You will see us.
